Velvet Smoking Jacket – Burgundy – Going to an old-style burlesque event and you know no one looks at the men? This jacket is the perfect thing to wear with a vest and Victorian ascot to complete the look. You still won’t compete with the women in bustiers and garters but at least you will be theme-appropriate. High quality, looks great, price very nice. {Anonymous}

Every order I have placed with GE has been handled professionally and quickly delivered to my address in Australia. The quality of the merchandise is outstanding. Not a cheaply made costume but an article of apparel which is manufactured with care and attention. An old fashion clothing store with old fashion customer service. Fantastic.

Callahan Trousers – Charcoal – I absolutely love these pants. I had my doubts about the high-waist thing, these being my first of the style. Frankly, they aren’t really all that high, but high enough to be a very different experience. Having the higher waist proved to be crazy comfortable. Service – I found the perfect skirt to complete my look for Dickens Christmas Faire and wow – high quality, beautiful design and fit, great price, you just can’t beat it. There are many vendors at the faire that sell period costumes for far more money but that are not as well made. I was stopped several times by faire-goers who asked where I got my skirt (its the Lorena). And Eva in customer service is delightful. 5 stars all the way!

Bancroft Vest – Black – I ordered this after reading all of the positive reviews, but still somehow expecting a problem: wrong size, customer service, shipping time, etc. — But I cannot explain how impressed I was with everything. The quality was amazing, shipping was fast, and the sizing was perfect. I didn’t need to experience the customer service past the initial purchase because it was great. I bought it for a friend of mine as a birthday gift, and I had to watch everyone swoon over his excellent vest that I picked out and purchased.
