Thank you all so much! I’ve been absolutely loving being able to enter these contests and appreciate all the amazing selections you’ve made with my photos and I am beyond thrilled to have been selected as the winner this month!

This photo was taken last fall at the Genesee Country Village and Museum. It is a favorite of mine, my wife, and the kids as it’s a living museum full of 19th century homes, businesses, buildings, and historic employees teaching you about aspects of the time. Every visit we like to dress the part and I am always wearing an outfit made of my historical clothing that is always met with positive feedback. Thanks to GCCVM and Historical Emporium I am able to walk through history and capture memories like this one from my favorite period in time. -Mike VanSlyke
