I gave you a 1 star because that was the lowest option! Although I ordered a larger size that I wear the first time, it was too small. I ordered an even larger size, and it's still too small. In fact, it seemed to be smaller thant the first one I bought. I will be returning it. I am spending tons of money on shipping alone. Your company needs to make clothing truer to size, or it needs to put elastic in the waste. Having to put the dresses on over head is also claustrophic to me. I've been more than disappointed with your merchandise.

I ordered my first corset ever, and rather than following your size recommendation, I went one size bigger because I wasn't interested in "waist training", just a nice, snug fit. Well, I had to send the first one back and get a size smaller. Clearly, I should have paid attention to the experts! Both corsets arrived days earlier than I expected, and I am very pleased wih the quality of the products. My only dissatisfaction (and the reason you didn't get a 5th star from me) is with the ribbon used. On both, the ribbon came unknotted the first time I tried them on, and I would prefer something tougher like a bootlace, anyway. That's easy enough to fix, though. Just thought I'd mention it. I just sent back the first one I bought, and I hope the refund process doesn't take too long, but I am prepared for a bit of a wait. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer, and I look forward to doing business with you again!

This Shawl was bought to wear in addition to a dress I purchased for a Family Wedding. The detail was incredible, the quality was outstanding. It was the perfect added touch to my outfit.

Way smaller than the sizing label would indicate. It would take at least the next size larger and maybe two sizes larger to fit. I bought a different vest in XL and it fit perfectly. This vest in XL didn't come close to fitting. Looked nice and the quality seemed fine but beware of the sizes.

This mustache is one of the best I have used in 30 years of acting. I love the look and it stays together through 2 performances. I will be using it throughout the summer and surely hope it will hold up as well as it seems, very realistic look

Not much more to say about it. I will note that its actually made by Shrine, so if you find yourself needing a larger size when you buy Goth-ware, take that into account. I'm 5'8, 150lb, and pretty average build. I got the medium, and it fits nice, but is definately not lose anywhere. And Yea, its long, tails reach to mid calf.

I can't wait to wear this with the wing collar.

I was really surprised at the top quality of the material of this dress. It is very comfortable and the xl fits me well. I will be using this for historical monologues and it is absolutely perfect.

This little hat is as cute as can be. I tend to get "hat-headaches"so I thought this little number would be great for me. In case you can't see it, it has a headband (arc) attached to hold it to you head, so it is very comfortable and no weight at all. Just right!

I have not worn it, but it looks like an excellent product. I am very satisfied.

I am very pleased with these boots. I got them for using on a historical walking tour and have worn them on the route four times so far. I was worried they would be slick on the bottom and I'd need to put some kind of traction on them, but they have been just fine. No slipping on sidewalk, brick or cobblestone! The old-fashioned design of these boots is indeed pointy in the toe, hence the need to get a half size bigger, which I did and am glad about. I have narrow feet and I am still hoping they stretch a little more in the toe area, but overall it is not uncomfortable and I think they will break in nicely. The tour lasts an hour and covers a half mile, and my feet are happy.

The sizing is ample. I ordered to size, and it was a bit large, but I needed it right away so I set out to shrink it and washed it in warm and dried it in a hot dryer and it did shrink a bit to fit me, so just be aware of that. The care instructions are to wash in cold and dry in a gentle dryer setting. If you wash in that setting it should be fine. It looks awesome. I got it to wear to an edwardian costume thing, but I also selected it because I thought I could wear it in an everyday setting. It gets compliments. My husband loves it! Have had great experiences with the Historical Emporium. The service is fast and the products are very good quality. Have bought from them before this item and will do so again as the need arises.

Everything about the loupy was great. It's cool looking and useful. Only problem was with the gold plated finish that was defective and was replaced with courtesy.

Very disappointed this item was not what I expected. The size listed was way off. I tried to remake the sleeves as they hung way off my shoulders and the wrist size was hugh. The lace in the front did not hang as pictured. I was in a crunch for time as the play I was in was opening and I did not have time to return it. I wore it for dress rehearsal but it looked so bad I was asked to find another blouse. That was $65 out of my pocket that I cannot recoup. Very regrettable.

The cut and shape of this Homburg is a bit more ramantic and dashing than the norm. All too often a Homburg looks stuffy and conservative. That's not the case here, due to a slightly wider brim and more drape fore and aft. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality feel and look of the materials used. The hat looks a lot more expensive than the price and is excellent value for the money. Shipping was very fast, and the hat arrived in perfect condtion, well protected in a sturdy box with good packaging. I am already enjoying wearing my new Homburg and expect to get a lot of good use from it.

This vest is described as size 37-39 inches. It is much smaller than that--sucking in my stomach and holding my breath, I got it buttoned and measured the outside of the vest at 37. There's no way it would fit a 38 or 39.

The gambler hat was comfortable and definitely completed the outfit. I do not normally wear cowboy hats so someone with more experience might have a different opinion, but this hat was a perfect fit and definitely the real deal. My hat size is 7 5/8, so the XL worked out just fine.

Nothing finishes off the look of a lawman better than the pocket watch. Keep in mind, this is simply an accessory and you're obviously not buying a timepiece that you would find at a jeweler or watchmaker, but for what it is, it's a great little product. Was a little small for my hand, but it completed the costume and I would recommend it for outfits that require or could use finishing touches.

The only problem I had with the neckerchief is that it's very thin and lightweight and not as thick as a bandana, however you would be hard pressed to find something similar anywhere else. What it lacks in thickness it makes up for in style. The blue polka dot neckerchief against the black vest and shirt really popped.

The only problem I had with this vest is that it was a little too short in the back because of my size. I am 6'6" so it rose a little in the back. Also, the cut is a little generous, so speak with the customer service reps about how you'd like it to fit. They are actually very knowledgeable and helpful and really try to help you put together the right look and feel for you. So I give 4 stars to the vest and 5 to customer service! How about it HE, tall sizes?

The pants are very well made and look great. I wear them all the time and get a lot of compliments on them from my other fashion major friends. The only bad thing, which isn't really that bad, is that the smallest size you carry is a 30 and I'm a 28 so there was a little but too much extra room in the waist and in the hip curve area. But that was an easy fix and now they are perfect. These pants are awesome and I love them! And those two darts on the back are adorable ^__^

This has to be, hands down, the coolest jacket i have ever owned !! The quality of this coat is amazing; it's super heavy-weight, yet the fabric is soft and comfortable. i looked closely at this thing, up and down, and was continually impressed with the amount of craftsmanship that has gone into it! it's just a friggin' cool coat. be advised, however, that these coats seem to run a size small. i read a previous review on this morning coat that said the same thing and it's true. i'm a big guy and i generally wear an x-large in everything, but i took the precaution and ordered a double x-large. the jacket fits perfectly!! the cut of this coat is so retro and cool it actually makes me look better than i really do, if that makes sense. thanks again, guys !!

When I first ordered these glasses I worried they might be too small but they fit like a dream! The shipping was also much faster than I expected.

Looked at the lenses and I thought "hey I remember those" except for the back part of the glasses which at first I was reluctant but then said "let's try them". Bugged the post office like crazy each day until finally it came and I put them on and people were just giving the stare of amazement. I have always loved old style clothes and accessories that I practically put on some of it once in a while.

I always wore these glasses until one day I broke them. But as I frantically looked for years I didn't really expect to find them online because no one really wore these style of glasses. I am already considering on making them prescription sunglasses as soon as I get the chance to go and do it in the near future.

This item is perfect. It arrived very promptly (I didn't track the exact amount of days, but I'm pretty sure it was way sooner than anticipated), and was exactly as portrayed on the website. My main concern was with how my skin would react to the metal, as I tend to get red blotches/rashes/green marks from most jewelry; however, I have not yet noticed any sort of skin issue when wearing this item, and it makes me pretty super happy. I would highly recommend this bracelet to anyone who likes to have large sea animals on their wrists.
