Superb quality

I ordered my regular size suit; it arrived promptly but did not fit. Sleeves were too short, too tight across the shoulders and around the waist - just too small everywhere. The suit is a good value, but order at least a size larger than you normally buy.

The trousers are exactly as shown. The color is a true charcoal without any brown overtones. We ordered one size larger due to a tummy larger than waist. They fit perfectly.

My boyfriend wears his pith helmet wherever he goes now! Thank you so much in helping to make his birthday special!!

I love what they look like and they fit really well.(I took your advice and ordered 1/2 size larger) I haven't worn them out yet, but I'm looking forward to the time that I will.

Unfortunately I've spent a lot of money returning things because of size discrepensies. I have ended up with trousers that I still can't get in to yet can't fford to send back. I have another pair in a different style that fit. I've lost a lot of money because of this. I initially ordered two pairs, had to send them back, could only afford one pair because of shipping and that pair doesn't fit. Very dissapointing as I've had so many wonderful items from the emporium. Especially dissappinted as the trousers were supposed to be for my wedding.

I think I was expecting a halloween-type jacket that looks good but had a limited shelf-life for use. The quality of this coat is outstanding! The fit is perfect and this coat is more than a costume. It's a heirloom.

Your company was extremely fast in shipping the products. BUT... We placed 2 orders, 1 order was placed 2 days later than the first. We received the second order in time for the Halloween Party on the weekend before Halloween, BUT the first order did not arrive until Monday, 2 days AFTER the party. It was highly disappointing but it has nothing to do with your company. The second order was a cane and the exquisite detail and wood is quality indeed. The first order of top hat and goggles is also high quality. We will definitely order from your company again!! Just wish that UPS was on the ball for this one.

Nicely weighted walking stick. The rubber tip leaves more to be desired though, but I guess can easily be replaced by something sturdier. The telescope portion is in my opinion 5 star quality.

These trousers are high quality, fit extremely well, and it appears that they will last for years. My seamstress hemmed them up and I was good to go. Wore them to work and got many complements.

This is an extremely nice, well made frock coat. It is made of wool, which I feel gives it a more authentic look. No polyester in the Old West. I was very pleased with this garment.

These work just great with the Ferndale and Classic Canvas trousers.

They fit great after three washings, which I would suggest doing before hemming legs to length.

They look great, and fit just as suggested - one size larger. The fabric is lighter weight than the other trousers, but it will be better for warm days.

The military color Madrona style vest is exceptional. As a 'vest man' who enjoys the look and feel of a vest, the quality and appearance of this one is superb, just like all of the vests I have purchased from Historical Emporium.

We needed a pair of knickers for a production we just opened. I had looked high and low even for a pair of pants I could convert. But couldn't find the weave or plaid look I wanted for a 1930's look. I happened to come across these knickers in a search and ordered them. They came very quickly and worked great, even on our 6'6" actor. The only disappointment I had was that they had elastic bands, which was not in the description. I intended to add gray bands at the bottom but when I saw the knickers worn with the black socks, I realized the elastic bands were no longer visible. It would be a good idea though to let folks know about the elastic in case that makes a difference to them.

The quality is ok. The belt sizes are small!!!!! Order at least 5 inches larger then what you think you will need.

This dress is so darling with its amazing design! The lace up back gives it a very personalized fit, which not only makes the dress look great but fit fantastic as well! Hat is of good construction. How ever if you happen to wear a 7 1/8 the large will be to big and the med to small. The manufacturer needs to do a better job on sizing.

Yea....it isn't cheap...and that is it. it's not! Everyone who saw this (steam punk) knew right away it was the real deal. Tight for a 2XL but very east to fix that. Very easy.

I ordered a Medium Coulter Shirt - and the sizing appears to run large. So, I returned it and ordered a Small, which fits perfectly (kind'a amazing because I don't wear a small *anything*!). The quality is impeccable and the shirt looks GREAT!

Nobbiest, dignified, dapper and even awesome have all been words used to describe this coat over the past weekend. The 100% Wool Frock Coat was the perfect attire for a fickle November day both hot weather and cool. For it's inaugural showing I took this coat to a civil war reenactment not only did it hold up well but compliments abounded as to it's fanciness. The material is not thin nor is it thick...it is just right. You may find yourself retiring the jacket in temperatures above 80° or bulking up with a scarf or greatcoat in temperatures below 55°. The construction is spot on and on par with other dress coats I have that cost more and this one has metal buttons to boot! The coat cost more than I wanted to pay but in the end well worth the cost and I trust it will provide me with years of service. If your are thinking about getting this coat and it's a little outside your budget spring the extra dough you won't be disappointed.

This is an exceptionally well made vest it is very durable, fashionable and practical. I would not hesitate to buy another if it were lost. I have little doubt that it will give me years of service.
