This item is more of a costume than sportswear. (It was necessary to add a drawstring.) The review that described it as "heavyweight" was MISLEADING! (I had the opportunity to buy the outfit with matching socks for the same price) For the purposes of playing a joke in the future and using with my clown work it is fine. You may consider including a one-piece jumper with buttons in your inventory.

Nicely made, lined, with 4 pockets. Drapes well too, not too fitted. Hides a small paunch, so you won't look like Boss Tweed.

The Coachman Hat has a great shape and fit. Well some fine tuning for the final fit. The flat top gives it the nice fashionable lines. A fine complement to any wardrobe.

The work vest is of top Quality. But do hope that the fabric will soften up. With use and a couple of washings. Still a great vest though.

My husband had been "eyeballing this shirt" for quite a while. I was thankful to find his size on your site as most of the sites did not have a Large. Scully shirts are of the best quality and after my husband saw my Scully shirts he became interested in getting some. We now have two different shirts in each of our sizes and he just loves this shirt. He also has some Scully shirts that are not available in women's sizes and I have some that are not available in men's sizes, so we can be individuals, as well as a "couple" when we go out.

I received this skirt as an early Christmas present and immediately wore it to the family Christmas Eve party. It looks and feels wonderful. The high waist fit snugly and thanks to the ribbons, I could choose whether to wear the skirt at ankle length or pull it up for ease of movement. My only problem was in tieing the ribbon bows. They came untied until I remembered how to tie secure ribbon bows.

This vest is very sturdy in both materials and construction and the crimson color is true to the photograph. I'm about 6'2" and wear a size 46 suit, and the XL vest is just long enough and was slightly loose (a size L would have been too snug, so I brought in the chest a bit by myself). I've gotten several compliments on the vest, and one person even asked where he could buy one.

The vest was even better that I expected. The quality was very good. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

Hi Guys Well I have Three other Hats that are made buy the same company,am I allowed to name the brand to bad if I am not, SCALA. The First was called The Coachman, the Second is The Mad Hatter,The Third is a Derby,and last but not least is The HOMBURG. I was worried at first at buying the HOMBURG as living in Western Australia and I was thinking what it going to be like when it gets here but to tell you the Truth when it tuned up sooner than I thought and opened the box up there were two words to describe it and please excuse the language, F-n AWESOME !!!! Considering the relatively low price, this is a great quality shirt. I wear 15 1/2 x 32/33 in shirts and the medium is just too long in the arms and too big in the neck for me. The shirt does not shrink measurably no matter how hot it's washed or dried. I was able to give the shirt to a friend who is a football player and it fit him perfectly. It would be great if the shirts were sized by neck and sleeve length.

Ordered this for my High school daughter to go with her Christmas outfit. Looked great with her skirt. We had to order the next size up due to the medium being out of stock so it was a little big. It does fit true to size as the size chart recommends. Appears to be well made.

As with everything I have purchased from the Emporium Collection I'm very pleased. The compliments from others reflect the craftsmanship and style I have grown to expect. The only thing I might suggest is that additional colors need to be added. Silver, green purple (Showman Vest Colors) high lighted by the Black collar and Black pocket trim are naturals. Add a Gambler shirt and you are ready to go downtown. Another Winner!

I ordered the tie with the red canvas vest...It was an unexpected "plus" for my grandson, and he couldn't wait to try it on. The tie and vest look great together.

My grandson loved it! It is very well made. I had ordered an XL because Larges were out of stock over the Christmas holiday, and it turned out that the XL fit perfectly. The delivery came very promptly.

The hat is not the color shown in the photo on my screen. It's much grayer. The one on the screen appears to be brown, a dark camel color. Computer monitor color rendition can vary, yes, but this is more than a few shades of difference. In the industry-standard PANTONE color registry index (available online), a search for "Pecan" yields PANTONE color Pecan Brown 17-1430 TCX and this is close to the website image color. The actual hat I received, however, is closer to PANTONE color Cocoa Brown 18-1222 TCC. Compare. Definite difference. I can live with the color I received (but really would have been nice to have closer match my camel hair overcoat), so I give the 4 Stars instead of 5.

I purchased this hat for my grandson as a Christmas gift. He has been competing in Cowboy Action Shooting in the "Buckaroo" category for about 10 months. He wanted a hat to wear as part of his "costume". Since his shooting alias is "Chili Dog" we thought this hat would add a latin flair to his outfit. The hat is perfect & he loves it! Well made & the price was very reasonable.

A very good product. The 6" high crown is a little too tall for my personal taste, but I still happily wear it to announce to the world that I am officially "off duty". I am considering the smoking jacket to complete the set. All in all I am extremely satisfied. A good product combined with good service.

I purchased a "news boy cap" from historical emporium last year.and all I can say is I absolutely love it. Several weeks ago, my step dad noticed it and kept commenting how much he liked it. This coat is a must have for a reasonable price. Good weight and excellent construction. The charcoal color is deep enough to make it mix and match with black, greys and browns for trousers. I am tall (over 6ft) and on the thin side, so a 39L would be just right, but the 40L was almost a perfect fit for my longer arms and gives a little extra room in the chest for thicker waistcoats. I will be well put together for my next event.

I bought this suit in a size 42R, which according to the HE website comes with a 36 inch waist pants. Everything was correctly labeled with these sizes, but the jacket was actually a 38S or a 40S. Also, the top button was sewn onto the jacket in such a way that it's eye-hole was under the lapel so when you buttoned the top button the lapel folded over. The pants were a 30 or 32, way too small to fit a 36 waist. Only the vest fit. A shame too because it would be a nice suit if it fit, nice feel to the material and a very handsome lining. With the sizing being so off I decided to return and not exchange this item. This will be my first HE return, let's see how that goes.

Very nice shirt, the material is quality and the color is super. The fit runs big. If you usually wear an XL you may want to get a L. The tales of the shirt are long so they stay tucked in.

The Vigilante Vest is perfect~~I bought it online as a Christmas gift for my husband. Not only did it arrive on a lightning bolt, but, Christmas morning, when he tried it on the fit was just right! I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas (we are each building a steampunk outfit) and we are very pleased. The lower height of the hat is definitely a huge plus. It makes it less costumey looking. The hat appears to be very well made and my boyfriend loves it. The feathers on the side are nice too.
