My great coat arrived promptly and fits very well. It has an excellent cut and style. The only fault which keeps me from giving 5 stars is that it is somewhat light for a great coat. I would be willing to pay a higher price for a coat made in a thicker wool fabric, as this is not really sufficient for a cold winter and I fear would fairly quickly soak through in heavy rain. Nevertheless, the coat is well made and has great style. I look forward to wearing it this weekend with my top hat and a Victorian style dinner jacket.

Excellent, just like all the clothing I have purchased from the Emporium Stores! This is the seventh vest I have purchased and I have never been disappointed. Somehow I never got around to buying a green vest and when it was decided we were going to go to Chicago for St. Patrick's Day what else could I do, but go to my favorite source. Color and craftsmanship are excellent! If you match this vest with a black or white Gambler's Shirt it's color actually seems to shift from a dark shade to a lighter one. Finally, I couldn't wait until St. Pat's, so I wore it to Church last Sunday. As always, everyone commented and complimented me on this vest's style. Another Emporium Winner!

The quality of this garment is wonderful. I read that it ran small so I ordered an XL for a L. It worked fine. The waist buttons under the bustline, so different body types may need a bit of an extension on the button loops. I thought the button loops (rather than button holes) made this garment able to fit even more body shapes. Buttons are brushed silver or pewter. From a distance, it almost appears as a necklace. I was afraid the jacket would look to Edwardian rather than Victorian, but it blends beautifully with Victorian dresses and skirts from the Late 1880's.

I like the hat and styling. It also fits well. I was pleased with the overall purchase. I was just disappointed with price. A little high for the quality of the hat.

Usually here is an elastic component to bow ties but your ties was lacked this necessary component! your mailing costs are excessive.

This is a great tie with real style. Not only authentic Western and Victorian wear, such ties are also worn by us Teddy Boys (the English style of the 1950s). It arrived promptly, and I shall wear it next time I don my drape coat.

My bush jacket arrived promptly and I am generally very pleased with the quality. The cloth and cut are excellent and I eagerly await the matching trousers coming back into stock so I can complete the outfit. The jacket is slightly long on someone of my height (just 5' 5" tall), so a short fitting option would have been appreciated, but the jacket stops a few inches above my knee, so it doesn't look much too long. The only real point stopping me awarding 5 stars is the rather flimsy plastic buckle on the belt. Apart from being inauthentic, I think it unlikely to survive the rigours of my next African safari. When it needs replacing, I shall be looking for one in metal, possibly covered in leather. Overall, this is a great jacket at a great price.

I bought this suit primarily for the coat; with the vest and slacks as spares to mix and match with other cloths. The coat fit fairly well. Will need some little alterations to the shoulders. The slacks fit well also, but the legs seem quite wide. The material and workmanship are very nice.

I looked all over the internet and saw prices much higher for similar rigs so I was skeptical of the quality. Decided to take a flyer on this one because the price was right. I am very pleased with the quality of the materials and workmanship. Heavy duty everywhere and fits my Uberti Cattleman perfectly. Four inches to my waist was the perfect size. This was a great buy!

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Middleton walking stick. The head is a solid piece with a strong screw mount to the stick. The pointed end has a rubber foot but the only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is that the point is way off-kilter which is purely an aesthetic issue. The connection of the foot to the stick is solid its just not straight. Overall I'm very happy with the item and will look to Historical Emporium for my gentlemen's walking stick needs in the future.

As always - the quality over all is very good, the color is just not quite what I was expecting... I was expecting something a little more red.. not so brownish...

I have a very large head the XL will fit someone with a 7-7/8" size comfortably. Excellent workmanship and quality materials. I live in the Mid-Atlantic state MD, delivery was completed within 2 days from CA. Awesome!

The hat was well made and very authentic, but the sizing chart is inaccurate. The chart said we should order a large so we did that and it was too large and wobbled on the head. Needed it the next day so I didn't have the chance to send it back for a smaller size so I had to stuff fabric under the flap inside of the hat. Great company and products, but the sizing chart needs to be more accurate.

I am very pleased with the appearance and quality of this vest. Its appearance changes slightly as the light catches the paisley pattern, , adding the subtle touch I was looking for without color. My measurements fell right between the L and XL breakpoint, and I ended up going with XL. It seems quite roomy on me, so the sizing does not appear to run small. It looks great under my cutaway coat!

These are absolutely amazing. They fit well and they look even better. These gaiters are my go-to protection for winter. Be it slush or a foot of snow these sleek things will keep your trouser ends clean and your shoes/boots dry.

This is the one shirt I thought would be the most versatile. The Fairchild looks nice and fits well. If the emporium offered shirts like the Fairchild in a variety of colors (like light blue, peach, striped etc.) combined with their attachable collars, this would be the best shirt ever. Right now it's only the best shirt.

The Callahan trousers look amazing with the matching vest and fit perfectly. The pants feel like they stretch a little bit (in areas where needed) which was surprising, but it does offer a sleek look.

This is an excellent hat for the price. It's true to size and the feather is a nice touch.
