i earlier in the year ordered a western gunbelt and holster for my S&W k-frame .357 revolver, i really liked the way my revolver fit into the holster. so i ordered one for my N-frame .44 S&W [ S&W .44 only comes in an N-frame] the holster was the same as for the K-frame revolver, although the.44 does fit , it does not go down into the holster all the way, and the hammer loop does not reach the hammer , lacking about one inch from reaching the hammer. i had to add onto the hammer loop. it just isn't a .44 holster. when ordering each holster i did give the specs. of each revolver.

I have purchased several different puff ties for my husband's Edwardian wardrobe. All of them have been excellent! I really love the color of this one, and it matches perfectly with one of my Edwardian outfits. Extra bonus!

I am delighted with the brass microscope I received with my evil scientist ensemble. The piece is beautifully made, sturdy and well designed. The jacket is of better quality than I had anticipated. The front buttons were a bit too small for my liking and were replaced with conchos that I purchased from another vendor. However, this is NOT to say they were unsuitable. The delivery was as good as it gets considering the product is not carried in-house and was as timely as Historical Emporium indicated it would be. Overall, the purchase of the vaquero jacket was a great experience and I liked the jacket and will enjoy it for a long time to come.

Not satisfied. Sizing is limited to tall skinny men. To get the proper neck size I had to order XLarge and take it to a tailor to see if it could be taken in enough so that I may wear it. It would be nice if there was a better size selection. All shirts were sized alike

Love this riding skirt! Ordered the size I wear and it fit perfect. Has a wide sweep to throw leg over a saddle and long enough to cover top of my boots. [ I'm 5 ft 10 tall] Love the way the cut of this riding skirt looks from the back as well as the front. With the front flap and the buttons, my abdomen looks flatter. Please make this skirt in different colors. Love it!!

Took a chance and ordered small size as they are mens. I wear 10.5 to 11 in womens. Therefore they were too tight for me and returned them. The faux leather was a little stiff but a nice looking boot.

Waist fit like a Sz 16 instead of the 18 I ordered. I'm tall and the length was perfect to wear with boots. Unfortunately I returned skirt and too leary of ordering a sz.20 Nice material and feel tho.

I had to return this riding skirt as the waist was too small for me. Ordered sz. 18 and fit like a 16, but didn't want to order a 20 because it would be too big other places. Otherwise I like the style and length.

My black lace Victorian bonnet is so very beautiful, and the quality is the finest. It is perfect and I just love it!

Super high-quality and nice fit once I found my size. They definitely run big, so get a size smaller than what you normally wear.

The quality of the leather and the metal buckles is great. It's a robust design suitable for actual work use and not just costuming. A lot of people noted that they are longer than expected; At 6'1", the fit me fine with using the last hole in the leather (smallest length). A shorter or thinner person might find them too long.

Excellent quality trousers with robust seams and buttons. The material seems very period-accurate and is quite unusual vs. anything you would find in a typical clothing store. The high waist design is particularly good. They are a bit more "loose fitting" than I expected as the photos show them a bit tighter in the legs.

Originally I was so excited when I received this coat, thinking how great it would look on me. Indeed, the fit in the waist is perfect for the coat size and I loved the style, so it looks great in this regard. However, there are many things that fell too short of my expectations. To begin with, this is the first time in my life that I see so much padding in the shoulders. Besides, the padding fitting is so crude that, in constrast to the thin and light fabric of the coat, it appears and feels bumpy, rigid, and excessive. Because of this there is a major flaw of fit in the chest. When the coat is buttoned the fabric in front, just below shoulders, tends to fold on itself; and when the coat is unbuttoned the issue is made even worse. As tailored look as I get in the bottom section of the coat, I cannot say the same about the upper torso (chest size is correct, by the way, and one size smaller wouldn't do for me). Because I really like the style and didn't want to bother with returns, I decided to take the coat to a local tailor for fixing. As I was looking forward to weraing it on regular basis, it is a shame that such a unique piece of clothing is only up to inferior costume quality standards. I would rather choose to pay extra $$$ if it were tailored properly, made in 100% wool, and more balanced in terms of thickness of fabric and canvassing/padding.

I'm into dragonflys big time and the are so unique! I originally bought them for my Halloween costume but find I am wearing them now. I get so many compliments on them. These were a great find here.

It's the real deal. This is not some cheap Halloween costume it's thick and well built. I looked all over the internet for safari gear and this is the only legit uniform I could find in the US. All other costumes were for rent or sold out of the UK or AU. We used it for our company at a trade show in Raleigh and tons of people asked us about where we got it!

The triple clip-on magnifying glass loupe looks exactly as it does int he picture, it works as you would expect, and it's easily transferred from one set of glasses to another. And, as icing on the cake - they actually work, too. :)

I ordered the size according to the directions suggested by you and it was way too large. I sent it back for shorter belt. I think the holster and belt are good quality and my revolver fit well.

I needed this underskirt for an upcoming community theater production. I am plus sized and was concerned whether it would fit or not. The fit is great! the drawsting waist make this very versatile. Also the quality is amazing. I would definately recommend the Historical Emporium to all my friends and Theater companions.

The blouse fits well and is constructed well, but the buttons are nearly impossible to actually operate.

I ordered this for a costume (of course). It's exactly the quality I expected. The fabric is heavy and the garment is well constructed. It is a little longer than I expected, but that's not a problem, just an observation. I can't wait for the many October events I'll be wearing it to.

This Sinclair Edwardian Club Collar Shirt as well with my Black Hills Vest Taupe and Black Puff Tie was a hit in South Dakota two weeks ago. My wife and I won the western dress up contest on the 1880 Train Ride in South Dakota. The cloths were defiantly talked about on how nice and well they fit that era.

This is a very nice vest and it was a hit with my US Marshall western costume. My wife and I actually won the western dress up contest in South Dakota two weeks ago.

I am 5'3" and even in 2" heels the skirt comes up to my breasts. About 4 inches above my natural waist. Will need to have it altered quite a bit to fit my very curvy, petite frame. But i pulled it up and used it under my corset and disguised it temporarily.

I really like how this can fit into almost any earth tone outfit. Works with tans, olives and browns. The only drawback is the shorter "gunslinger" flat front doesn't work on me as well. However it seems to be very sturdy with strong buttons.

This one was a bit more like a blue jean vest than I expected but it works well on more casual work days with khaki's as the stripes blend in to match.

I have really enjoyed this one so far. It's not to fancy to be used as a basic brown vest, which is one of my staple colors and not so easy to find for everyday use. It gives a touch of flair without being overly bold.

This belt and holster fit my super Blackhawk and me perfectly! The price was great.
