This dress shirt looks and feels great. It is a comfortable material to wear. Unfortunately, the size small was not small enough; the sleeves were too long and the body of the shirt was 2 sizes too large. I wear a size 14 dress shirt and the description claims this shirt fits a size 14-14.5... I had to pay even more money to take it to a professional tailor to get it fixed to my size. If you are a slender gentleman, I would not purchase this shirt.

Got it for my adult son for Christmas, he's decided he likes vests now for every day wear. I think he wants to become a hobbit. Anyhoo, it was delivered in timely fashion, as ordered, and I asked him how it is and he said "frontier suave". He likes it! He picked it out himself from the on line catalog and forwarded the order form to me, ready to submit. Everything worked slick! I've never even seen it yet, but I'm satisfied.

Like the rig a lot. Couple of things though. It doesn't appear the same as the photos describe it. Looks more like a solid color than the "antique" represented in the photo. Only other thing is the size. I ordered according to the size chart and when it arrived it turned out to be somewhat larger than expected. Not that much of a problem, I will have it adjusted but should have ordered it 2 inches smaller. Other than those two issues I really like it. The color and lack of being "fancified" was exactly what I was looking for. Gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure I got what I actually ordered but I like it anyway.

I needed a specific sort of shirt for a home performance, something flowing and casual BUT elegant. As I happen to also play the bass when I perform, it is often very difficult to "bridge the gap" between attire which is too, "side man" casual and too inappropriately formal and stiff. In addition, although one of your respondents commented that this shirt was too short (a comment which concerned me), I found that this was NOT the case. The shirt (I suppose it is actually a blouse) was absolutely long enough, roomy enough without being "sloppy" and, again, appropriately elegant, especially so because of the top, metallic button/link. Because I had very little time between ordering from Boston and our concert date in California, I was able to arrange pick-up at California address...and you delivered in plenty of time. For what it's worth, my intention is to order additional such shirts. But as someone who takes these things very seriously...and as someone who hjas searched very extensively for such a garment...allow me to commend you. Good job! I LOVE dealing with people who care.

My 11 year old son wanted this for Christmas. I don't know what brought on the sudden interest and had no idea where to go to get it. I was thrilled with the quality of this helmet and you should have seen the smile on my son's face when he opened it. I'm very happy with this product.

I love the look of this pair of trousers. I wear a 34 in modern pants so I ordered them in a 36. They are slightly snug still but a 38 would be too loose. They will dress up my basic outfit and become my Sunday best. Look great with a black or burgundy vest and a black coat.

This vest looks great. It's a little short on a fella 6'1" but its not so short that I wanted to send it back. After wearing it for several weekends worth of events I'm glad I purchased it.

This vest is lovely, and soft to the touch. It looks great with the things we have already purchased, and the back tie is perfect for changing the size a bit. I am hoping the buttons stay on, as this was an issue with another vest we purchased, but then, that one may have just plain been too small around the tummy. I like that the vest is understated--he looks more like a businessman than the owner of a brothel--which I guess is a business, but . . . you know what I am saying. It gets its first outing at Historic San Juan Bautista tomorrow for First Saturday!

This is an outstanding watch for the price. It comes in a velvet pouch and is very elegant. It is not excessively ornate as many similar items are, so it manages to look modern AND Edwardian. So far it keeps good time too. I've looked for a long time for a pocket watch and I'm very impressed with this one. My order arrived very fast too. Great service.

I purchased these as a glam gift for my daughter in law and they are absolutely stunning on her. The fit is perfect. She loves both the leather look and the reversible pattern side but the buttons down the back make these extra glamorous. Great style at a great price. Note to first time visitors of this site. These are real clothes not cheap costumes! The suit I'm reviewing is as good or better than many suits I already own. I purchased this as an option for another Steampunk outfit I'm putting together. I received it just before Christmas and, because I work most holidays, I wore it to work with the Black Cherry Jacquard Vest and a silver ascot. Stylin' indeed. When New Years Eve rolled around I couldn't resist and wore it again only this time with the silver Baker City vest and the Drake puff tie. I received many compliments from our customers and my coworkers on my festive and fancy attire.

I bought this vest for my husband for is birthday. It is beautiful soft leather and fits very well. The fact that you can order this in chest sizes makes this a much better fit rather than small, medium or large. The western style and the details on the vest are very nice.

My only comment is that the color of the frames is not quite as pictured. The product is a dull flat tone. not shiny metal at all. It almost looks like gold paint. for such an attractive item they should be highly polished.

Wore this to a NYE party (paired with a royal blue Twin City vest) and looked great, if I say so myself. ;) Nice, solid construction, good fit. Also, the exterior pockets are real pockets sewn shut, not faux pockets--just pick the stitching apart and you're good to go! Will make a good 3rd Doctor (Pertwee) coat down the road as well.

This vest at first glance is very pretty, however it runs extremely small and for the price the buckle in the back is extremely flimsy and cheap. I Ordered a pair of pants also that were at least 3 sizes to small so sending them both back cost me 24.95 in freight, so instead of exchanging I am just getting a refund because it is to hard to decide what size to get and do not want to pay the freight on the return again. These products run extremely small so I recommend ordering several sizes larger than normal. No I would not recommend these to a friend because of sizing issues and having to pay for return freight charges.

My husband plays in a dixieland band and was thrilled with this beautiful hat! He has an XL head and the XL seems to be the right size. The ribbon band is dapper and the inner-rim padding is very comfortable. We're hoping it "wears in" a bit to a more oval head shape. We would recommend this hat from Historical Emporium to anyone and everyone!

This jacket is nice to look at but the shoulders are huge. The waist fit was perfect but it would never fit anyone's shoulders. It also has some kind of white threading on both arms which is a bit cheap looking. Like the design but not thrilled with the fit or quality for the price.

The red is nicely muted and the material very sturdy--couldn't be happier. Ordered one size smaller than recommended measurement and it fit perfectly.

This item is a phenomenal. It works like a charm. Mind the focus if you usually wear glasses because it'll be difficult to gauge how much x-ray you're receiving. Seems to be fine if you're near-sighted. Perfect for wintertime use, and I reitterate, DO NOT wear it at Wal•mart! You will most assuredly regret it.

For the price the topcoat was what I expected. What I did not expect was how long the sleeve length is. By the time you have the two sleeves altered to their proper length the cost is so high it makes the coat uneconomical. That is a shame. Also, the customer service department person I talked with over the phone was rude!
