Material was unpleasant to touch; shorts we not large enough for XL and no draw string made the shorts impractical for use as a bathing suit. My waist is 40" and my coat size is 48." I have an athletic build and do not consider myself significantly overweight. The shorts were too tight in bottom, rise and inseam. Very disappointed as I intended to wear these at the beach with my grandchildren. They like the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang movie and it would have been fun to sport a 1900s bathing suit. I will be returning these for a refund.

This is a nice coat, a little heavier that expected but still a nice coat.

This shirt is SO comfortable! I have no idea why these ever went out of style. The fabric is so soft, and the design is very versatile. You can button up the collar and have the jabot and sleeve lace for nice refined look, or you can unbutton the collar and tuck the lace into the sleeves for a more everyday look! Am awesome product

Take a bit more work than modern suspenders, but these look a whole lot better. They appear to be made pretty well so I should be able to enjoy for a long time.

I bought these for riding my motorcycle, once I had them tailored for my length. I had lots of left over material, so my tailor made me leg pockets for my wallet and glasses, now I have the ultimate riding pants, outstanding in the comfort level, in the overall fit bang on, with braces the comfort level is upped and above what you want. Did a 9 hour ride on the weekend from inland to the lakes, a lot of people had to stop and put their chaps on because their legs got cold, these pants held off the cold and then even were comfortable when we were into the heat. My pants for my month long bike ride.....thanks so much.....

I bought the sable sack coat earlier, which I loved, so ordering these matching trousers was a must, and I could not be happier with the style, quality and fit of these pants. When I put them on for the first time and looked in the mirror, I laughed out loud, because it was as if I had taken a ride in a time machine... the high waist & required suspenders make them completely unlike modern clothes, but they really are intensely flattering in their own way, and they seem actually more comfortable than modern pants cinched with a tight belt. I received compliments every time I wear them. The fit, as I said. was perfect, as I followed the guidelines carefully. I have since bought other trousers in a similar style on this site and don't expect to be wearing modern clothes any time soon. Completely delighted.

I was looking for a casual suit that had a 1930's to 40's vibe to it and then I saw these suits pop up on GE. They are actually very nice for the price and lightweight which is exactly what I need for the local climate. I always grudge that I have to fit the length but again, for the price, it is worth it. Very vintage vibe with the slightly longer sports coat. So far, so good....
