If you are looking for something that you can dress up in, stand out it, role play in, have fun in, ...this is a piece that does all that. Yes it's a couple of bucks (especially with exchange rate these days) but it's worthy. I'm very happy with the first order I made. I decided to make a second order with a few items to go with this jacket and a second outfit for an up coming trip to NOLA.

Package was received on time, However I was utterly disappointed with the quality and look of the shoes. The leather was already creased and it was constructed poorly and made from cheep materials. I will certainly be returning them. If you're looking for a decently maids that shoe, look elsewhere.

I'd personally describe these as burgandy rather than crimson, but regardless, I am very happy with them.

I don't know how much you know about the E Clampus Vitus group (ECV). But they are either a Historical Drinking Society or a Drinking Historical Society --- Thankfully the debate continues. Anyway, they appeared in California during the Gold Rush and were so important that nobody, no salesman, shop keeper, actors, miner, nobody, could do business in the mining camps unless they were a member of the ECV. It kinda' died out during the Civil War, but then became revitalized in the 1930's as a History Preservation Group. Many times when driving along the streets and roadways you'll see a Historical Marker. When you stop to read what it says, it often shows it was placed there by the ECV. Our colors are red and black --- MAINLY RED ! Red is called the Clamper color. We call our members "Redshirts". Everyone is always trying to come up with a new variation for the use of RED. I am the Peter Lebeck Chapter 1866, ECV's "Consulting Clampstorian" (Historian). The ECV is an all men's group, but at the beginning of each year we hold our "Widder's Ball" (We call our wives or girlfriends --- or BOTH, our Widders) and hold a fancy dress Ball in our ladies' honor. We introduce the new officers and defrock the outgoing President (we call our "Humbug"). Have a great meal, lots of liquid refreshments, and then hold costume contests, followed by a Dance. I just received my new Italian suit, black with red pinstripes --- and to top it off, I purchased your Red Top Hat ! I have a small horse ranch (small ranch, 47 acres, not a ranch for small horses), but anyway, I know my Stetson hat size. It's a 7 1/4 or Large. The top hat came, and it was a Large, but 7 1/4 to 7 3/8's, and was VERY GOOD QUALITY, BUT ALSO A LITTLE TOO BIG FOR MY HEAD, so I went to my regular Hat store locally and bought several "hat-sizers". NOW IT FITS PERFECTLY, AND LOOKS AWESOME ! THANKS!

Since other reviewers had reported that this coat is a snug fit I ordered it one size larger than what I normally wear, and I'm glad I did; the size I ordered fits well. The coat is light-weight and comfortable, and the color is easy to match. The manufacturer's label says "cattleman coat," and it is a good look for a rancher on Sunday morning, but as a previous reviewer commented, Inspector Lestrade would also feel at home in it.

This suit is very sharp, and it has a sort of fin de siècle appearance, with a fairly long jacket and low-cut vest, without looking out of place in the 21st century. The synthetic fabric drapes nicely and is comfortable; nothing about it looks or feels cheap. My only problem was that, while the pants and vest fit well, the coat was too big. It was well worth the price of an alteration, but it is a shame you can't buy the pieces as separates to guarantee a perfect fit.

I am all set for the first day of class, each semester, for the rest of my life. The shirt speaks for me. It says,"slap leather, kids. Draw your calculators and put 'em in radian mode." Good fit, even the arm lengths are right on. I am totally JACKED.

I'm impressed with the quality and especially the price of this Duster. It's a little flimsy, but I'm using it in old west shows, and should hold up fine for that. It's not meant for everyday use, nor would it hold up in rain.

I have a lot of hats in my collection. I do western reenactment/gunfighter shows. I like having different hats for different characters. When I saw this hat on your website, I thought I'd finally found a style like the one that Tommy Lee Jones wore in "Lonesome Dove". I've wanted one for some time. The hat I received looked exactly like the one advertised on the website.... I guess I just assumed it would be a sturdy hat. The quality of this hat is the type that you might find at a Halloween costume shop... perfect for one night of wearing.... but not something that will hold up through weekly shows.

Really nice shirt fits well & feels good cotton is not scratcy next to your skin . My 12 year old grand daughter gave it a 2 thumbs up rating & in my kind it can not be rated higher than that . I wear what I buy as every day clothes so fit & comfort along with looks matter to me .I will probably buy a few more for every day casual wear

I bought this for my husband and he was very pleased with it. It is well-made with good attention to detail. Unless you can afford to shop on Bond Street or have one made on Savile Row this is probably as close as you are going to come to the traditional smoking jacket and is certainly less expensive. Delivery was prompt and having ordered other items from Historical Emporium, I had every confidence that it would be a quality garment. I was not disappointed.
