These are so very, very high quality. They're listed as 'silver' but I feel a more accurate description of the color would be 'pearl grey'. And the sizing chart that accompanies the various spats available is absolutely spot-on. They fit as if they were custom-made. I am consistently amazed by the quality of every single item I've purchased here, and these silk spats are no exception.

This vest is very nice and got a lot of compliments. It is a little short in the body, or maybe I'm too tall through the trunk, but it still works pretty good.

True to size-chart size. I'm trading a medium for a small. (Size 4) It has lot's of material over-all, and is plenty long for 5'7".

The Chesterfield is the most classic and classiest of overcoats. This product is very well made, with excellent material, very fine lining, plenty of pockets, nice fit around the neck. I can't recommend it enough to the man who wants to look like something, that is, like a gentleman. I take great pleasure every time I put it on ---it makes you feel like a million dollars. And it comes at a low price. (For me it replaces and is an improvement upon an overcoat I bought decades ago for what was, in today's money, over a thousand dollars!)

This is a great skirt I liked the black on so much I ordered the gray they fit wonderful and I use mine for cowboy mounted shooting have many complements . Looks great. Use there chart to order sound wrong but its right on.. You'll love it you can do so much with them .... I love mine! You need this!

If there is anything at all to the adage, "The clothes make the man.", then THIS vest is probably what inspired it: the fit, finish, and quality of this garment is so far beyond my admittedly high expectations. The subtle jacquard pattern is very complementary with the red silk " puff" tie I also ordered. And the black-on-black striped lining is sadly unseen by anyone but the wearer. I've never owned a piece of clothing that fit so well, nor is more flattering to me. If you don't own one of these, you most definitely SHOULD!

I am more than pleased with the Ambassador vest. Looks great and have had several compliments in it.

First off the pros. Love the rig, great look and good quality leather. Their return process is fairly easy Now the cons. Don't go by the sizing guide. It says measure hips, I ended up with a 42 (too big). Sent that one back, ordered a 40, still too big. I called customer service and they told me to go by the part that says add 4" to your pant size (which I couldn't find on the holster page). So, I am now ready to return my second one and (maybe) order a third. My suggestion to Historical Emporium, take away the hip measurement guide altogether and just tell people to add 4" to their pant size. Here's to hoping third time's a charm.

Had to return it as it was too small. Asked to have it replaced for a lager size. Jury is out.

I have the black gaiters which I have worn for 4 years and love. The brown are just as well-made as the black. They look terrific with the brown vest I also purchased.

Love this vest. I have it in black. Fits well, well made, nice fabrics. This one will look perfect with my safari costume.

The sizing is deceptive. I normally wear a 1X or 2X and ordered a 5X to make sure it would fit. I am now having to find someone to fix it so it will fit. Way too small.

I really didn't know what to expect but this magnifying glass necklace is really cool. It is very unusual and very pretty and also useful. I will probably order several for gifts. They would be very helpful for those that can't see closeup and can wear it as jewelry but use it to see small print on menus, etc. Very nice, was pleasantly surprised.

This doesn't happen very often in my internet shopping experience but it did this time. Buying shoes without trying them on is extremely iffy at best. But these fit perfect! I'm a size 12 and the Congress Gaiters fit just right. No break-in period at all. Oh, and they look good too!
