I love this hat and it looks great. However, it is very large, and I will have to be innovative to get it to fit and stay on during my event. However, the price and quality are good.

I ordered a holster for a S&W 57 Magnum 6"barrel. My gun does not fit the holster I was sent.

I bought this blouse as part of my wedding dress, it fit well in the chest and belly even though it would have been nice with a full size larger, but since I'm wearing it under a corset it looks great! It got to my Alaskan location in no time at all.

The quality of the coat was outstanding, but it was a tailored fit. I haven't been able to wear anything fitted since the last century.

I have ordered many items from the Historical Emporium and have never been disappointed. The items are always delivered in a timely manner. I enjoy the fit and authenticity of the Baxter Knickers.They seem a bit big on me, but I hope that is a reflection of me finally losing some much needed weight. A baggy fit actually is the authentic fit.

I appreciate the quickness in getting this to me. . . the purse is adorable. However top clasp does not snap shut. . . it easily opens and to return it would be too costly.

Dapper! I bought this for my husband to go with his black clothes/shoes for work as well as leisure. We are both so pleased with this one that I have already ordered one in gold/brown (link below) to go with brown or off white clothes. This particular cravat/ascot fabric says: "I do so love the sound of a steam powered dirigible in the morning" versus the silk printed cheaper ones that say "And I have one to match each of my Yachts". I chose a natural material (silk) over polyester for superior breathability and my Husband reports it is indeed comfortable to wear all day. I am glad we invested in this beautiful item. I am a quilter so I am a fabric nut and this is excellent woven silk. This is not a pattern printed ON the silk, but a pattern WOVEN FROM IT. This gives the fabric depth and texture. In addition it has a blue sheen to it in the light that is impossible to see from this image. Another pleasant surprise, the "oval" motif is actually "eye" shaped and very fetching. The backing is of a red silk, beautiful in it's own right and if you desire, you could wear the red side out. Other less expensive Ascots do not have as generous a cut (quite literally "cutting corners"!) but this is far more traditional and aesthetic. This means that more fabric had to be used to create this look, but Historical Emporium is definitely all about quality, authenticity, and style. I have already ordered another to go with brown clothes.

This Bolero is comfortable and stylish. The perfect addition over a corset in the spring when it's too chilly for bare shoulders. Love it!

Nice helmet, but inside leather sweatband was poorly constructed and cheaply made. I later saw a similar helmet and it had a substantially better constructed sweatband that was securely attached and easily adjustable to fit the correct head size. The other characteristics seem very comparable to each other.

I had purchase three or four times from this company, but never again. They give the worse customer service I have seen. They are more than happy to take your money and normally charge about 40 to 50% more for items but they have several items and I did not mind paying the additional money, but then once I had a problem they did not want to help. They try to make it the customer fault, that the customer was so dumb that they did not know what they were done caused the problem. They are a bunch of A--holes. But that is ok as I will get the last laugh by not spending any more of my money with them and by telling anyone I have a chance to, how bad they are and to either find another vendor or keep their money in their pocket and not give to Historical Emporium or any of their sister companies. Never, never, never buy from them.

My daughter portrayed Aleen Cust, a turn of the century woman and 1st female veterinarian for a history project. She was timid and hesitant to be in the spotlight. Looking the part was a real confidence booster! She looked just like a real woman from 1900 who had to be practical about her clothing but fit perfectly in the fashion of the period. Making the skirt would have cost time and no less money. I will use them again in future for period outfits- school functions, reenactments, Halloween.

I'm part of a steampunk organization and these trousers fit perfect - the exact size ordered, not over or under-sized. You will need to hem the legs though - they are super long!

I was worried about it fitting properly so I ordered a size up. It's a little loose but otherwise perfect. I'm very happy with my purchase and it was delivered quickly.

Beautiful look and appears to be well made, although I have not washed it yet. It is a little lighter weight material than expected, but that really is not a bad thing, when you add your tie, vest, and coat it does help to keep you cooler.

I was disappointed in the smoking jacket. The color was more red than burgundy. It did not match the color of the example on your website. The other thing that bothered me was that it's not velvet. It's made of polyester fabric. Maybe you should describe it as velvet-like. Editor's Note - The content of the fabric is listed in the description. It is a velvet finished fabric made of polyester.
