I had a last minute addition to my cast for a theatrical production, This was a larger woman who is difficult to fit. In desperation I turned to your website and found this PERFECT outfit. I purchased the blouse featured in the photo of this costume, along with the belt. I called customer service to verify it was available and shipping time. It came faster than I had hoped, and fit perfect! I did not have to make any fitting adjustments. Both the director and the actress loved it.

The garment is a good style and well made. It fits well and should prove to be an important piece of costuming. I have only one negative thing to say. I am disappointed in the weight of the fabric. The description said 'linen', which I think of as lightweight and with a somewhat open weave. I bought this garment with the expectation of wearing it during Texas summers, but I believe it will be useful only in the moderate temperature months. Typical summers in Texas average 95 degrees all afternoon and I think this duster will be uncomfortable. The duster is 100% cotton, but it is more of a lightweight canvas than linen. Editor: The reviewer is correct, the item is now made of cotton, not linen. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I fell in love with this coat as soon as I saw it! From previous comments made on the website, I was aware that this jacket runs small. However, I took measurements of myself, and knowing when shopping at Macy's I wear a ladies XL, I ordered the 5X, the largest size that was offered. When the coat arrived, (I must say the delivery was speedy!) the coat was still 6 inches too small to button, and didn't even fit in my shoulders. To my dismay, I had to return it.

I got this coat on at a close out price! The fabric and taylorings are excellent. I ordered this coat according to the size chart and the sleeves were very snug. I ordered another 2 sizes larger so I can wear it over an outfit. I love the unique styles offered by the Historical Emporium. I get compliments on this coat whenever I wear it.

I really like the coat. It's top quality and pretty warm. Will be a little hot on a sunny day, but not bad at night. The sleeves on these coats are long and may have to be tailored to fit right. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this coat. I have another that I enjoy too.

I think the title says it all. It's a beautiful item that is very well put together and got to me the next day despite being told it would take much longer. I was a bit iffy about the cost, but that was until I actually had the item in hand. I do believe it worth it and will be back for a similar item in red some time soon.

The fundamental work shirt is very well made and very durable. High quality material and stitching. I wore the shirt every night for two weeks as the character of Mr. Bumble in a production of "Oliver". It washed well and held up perfectly. Would highly recommend this product and others like it for period productions, etc. My compliments to the company for a superior product.

I got this hat because i love top hats and dont see them worn casually anymore... I see fedoras and what have you and thats all, i wanted to stand out in a fashion sense. I get people asking where i got my hat, and that they love it whenever i go out now. its entertaining but not the strict reason why i got it . I just love top hats lol

I recently purchased 12 of these in a variety of sizes. Please read the sizing regarding needing larger than you would normally purchase. I had detailed measurements so, all skirts are fitting as expected. However, I am normally as size 16 and I purchased a size 22 (warily), but based on measurements, this skirt fits great. So don't worry about what size you are buying and make sure you measure!!! The skirt is very long, on me (I'm 5'5") almost to the floor. We are having all 12 embellished with embroidered roses for a possible entry into The Rose Parade. Material is nice and drape of the skirt while riding a horse is excellent. Service was quick! Skirts were ordered on 04/29/16 and received on 05/09/16. Right at the 10 days as stated in the product information.

I recently inherited an Uberti Cattleman and I figured a fine pistol deserved a fine piece of leather in which to carry it. I shopped around at a few places and was finally drawn here due to price and appearance. I wanted plain leather, not tooled, something simple and sturdy. I chose this particular holster/belt and utilized express shipping. I ordered it on a Friday morning and it was on my front porch saturday afternoon. I would have never expected such fast shipping considering it was traveling all the way to Ohio. The leather is thicker than I expected and is very sturdy. I measured several times, following the instructions on the website. I was a half-size so I went up to the next size. I have to use the last belt hole, but it fits. The Cattleman .45 fits perfectly in the holster and I tested all of the cartridge loops with my ammo. The loops are also perfectly sized. It looks and feels great and functions as intended. I am very pleased with this purchase. I then purchased a different model Cattleman in .357 and immediately purchased a different model holster for that pistol from Western Emporium. I will review that holster when prompted via email. All in all, I have been very pleased with your products and I will be recommending your website to my friends.

Wearing this vest is not only comfortable, but remarkably historic. I have only received compliments when I wore it - everyone has asked me more about it, and I've told them right away about the Emporium. Works superbly with a cravat and a pocket watch. The smoking jacket is awesome. Its quality is very high and it will last for a long time I'm sure. I purchased it primarily as a costume for my character of Corny Collins in the musical "Hairspray", and everyone loved it. But I will wear it out to dinner and to various functions now that the show is over. It looks great with a bow tie!

I bought this shirt along with a dragon design vest for my son to wear at the San Diego Comic Con this July. He loved them and they fit perfectly.

The only issue is that it is slightly short on me. Fits well, but I would have liked it down another inch or so.

I bought this collar to add a realistic detail to a butler costume. It looks very good with the suit and is styled with two holes, one for a larger stud (I sewed a button onto a more modern shirt) in the back and smaller holes for plain men's collar studs in the front. It does not come starched and works fine without stiffening. It looks handsome with bow or straight ties. It arrived within days of purchase and am very happy with it, as are my fellow cast-mates.

Has more detail, with numerous pleats on each side of the buttons in front, than shows in picture. Light weight fabric, which is good, since this is worn in summer with a vest. Size is accurate, with good length for tucking in, and long torso men.

I bought this blouse as a present for my period-clothing-obsessed daughter's fifteenth birthday. She LOVES it. The styling is beautiful and comfortable (the medium is a *tiny* bit tight on her 34C/D chest, but the ruffling hides that), and the blouse seems to be quite well-made. As a busy mom, I love that it's machine washable. I got this to go with the Victorian Walking Skirt in navy (also a birthday present for her), and they look lovely together. If you're looking for a Victorian-style blouse, this is a great choice.
