I've been looking for a style coat from that Era and found it in this coat. I like the style of the coat. I like the feel of the coat. I like the cape that gives it that gentlemen look. It's different than most Styles today and that is why I like it. Great find!

The shipping was so fast I was able to wear the blouse to the fair! It fits wonderfully and is very comfortable. I will still wear it with an undershirt, but I don't think it's really nessisary. I would totally buy this product again.

Saw this shirt and loved the design. Had to have it. This old design works well in today's blue jean fashion. I will be adding more like this to my closet.

I just love it. It looks very elegant yet it's supercomfy! I usually wear a size 8, but I got size 10 to be safe. A size 8 would have fit me just fine, but since I usually wear it with suspenders, I actually prefer the bigger size. I've worn it several times, and I've gotten compliments each time. I plan to buy another one in a different color.

Well made, and fits well. The color is a bit darker than shown. Adds some panache without becoming too flamboyant.

I had been trying to source vests in Australia for a number of months with no luck. I found Historical Emporium by pure chance and decided to give them a go. I ordered this vest along with Humboldt Stripe Vest and Classic Canvas Work Vest - Black in a single order as the three with shipping from the States was still more reasonable than anything that I'd been able to find in Australia. I had deliberately ordered a size up to be safe and on arrival I was very impressed with the quality, style and the time that the vests took to jump the puddle from the US. My tailor when I went to have them taken in (yes I probably should have trusted the sizing listed) also commented on the quality and styling; when measuring and after making the adjustments. Thank you very much (and yes I've now ordered additional vests), highly recommend both the service and product. I'll be back again.

We bought a holster for my son's 357 mag 2 years ago for Christmas. We were very pleased with it, we bought him a 44 mag this year so we are returning customers. Both holsters are good quality and guns fit nicely...

This is a very thick fabric shirt and is great for Fall through Spring but not for Summer. Very comfortable to wear and looks great with several of my Historical Emporium vests. I will be wearing it for Christmas dinner this year along with my new Baker City red vest I just purchased tonight. I am a happy and satisfied repeat customer!

Ordered this skirt for a costume, but it is more tan than fawn (not true to the picture). I really wanted a khaki colored skirt to go with my husband's khaki safari jacket and pants. The color selection for women's skirts don't seem to include khaki. I am returning the skirt solely based on the dark color. I had to guess and go with "sand" on another skirt and hope this will do.

Bought men's medium and large set of gloves. We wanted to match our gloves and the men's accessories had the best selection. The medium was for me (female) and the large was for my husband. The gloves run a bit large so I am returning the large size in exchange for the small size. The medium sized gauntlets fit my husband's hand perfectly. Otherwise, the gauntlets are great. The leather is of good quality and very soft. Just the look to complete our costumes.

I love the dress! The color is beautiful; it fits well. I am 5 foot 5 1/2 and have somewhat narrow shoulders but I am busty. This just fits on my shoulders without falling. Full, pretty skit that twirls.

The cloth and stitchwork are fine quality, no complaints there - but we went with the recommended "one size up from modern" pants guideline, and the waist was baggy and ill-fitting unless the back-adjuster was winched all the way in. Nothing to be done about the baggy arse, there's no time for a return/exchange before the event they were purchased for. I would recommend an addendum to the instructions about going one size up from your conventional modern pants measurements; measure yourself higher up on the proper waist, where the vintage trousers will sit, and unless you're a different diameter there just use your standard measurements. (Can't comment as to durability/comfort yet; order hasn't been worn past the basic try-on, as they're all going to the tailor's to get hemmed, will update if they wear remarkably well/poorly.)

This is a Christmas gift and he has not received it at this time. If you want me to, I will do this after Christmas.

The blouse will go nicely with my skirts. I'm a member of a 1860-1899 re-enactment group. Last year my husband & I lost everything in the Butte Forest Fire. I'm slowly trying to replace some of my re-enactment clothes.

It's exactly what you said it would be, needs winding everyday, the two faces on left and right are fake, looks cool and works great. I have no complaints, very happy!!

The coat arrived in a very timely manner and in excellent condition. I have worn it and the string tie to the Dickens Christmas Faire in South San Francisco on December 3rd and to the Nevada City Victorian Christmas on December 4th. The Y-Suspenders fits me like a glove it matches my body height 5 feet 6 inches l would recommend to other people.

Great looking jacket, great fit, good material. This jacket was a cut above what I expected for the price. Fit was spot on, only requiring a simple adjustment to sleeve length. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
