Unbelievable quality.

It is, indeed, a Top Hat. It is well made and fills a much needed niche in any Reenactor/Actor's hat collection. I have one of the original screen worn high toppers made in Rome, Italy for the film Gangs of New York in my collection, and this one is close in quality, and at a much more affordable price. Repros made by the same Italian firm run upwards of $300+shipping to the US. I have wanted one I can wear for day-to-day shows and I'm not about to wear my collector's item for that! This hat fits the bill nicely. It is made of a nice sturdy wool with enough lacquer to keep it looking nice even after it has been shot off your head a few times , or sat on at a cotillion. I like the style -- and the quality of workmanship is excellent . I have 5 other vests from the Emporium as I wear a vest virtually every day of the year. This Tan/Navy with blue cloth buttons is versatile: goes with most of my variations of khaki / blue / gray trousers. Have worn it several times already and am very pleased.

The pictures of the watch on the Historical Emporium website were beautiful, but even they did not prepare me for the splendor of the actual article. It is a solid, sturdy piece of jewelry. but with the elegance of a genuine work of art. The Roman numerals are clear, sharp, and easy to read, but you don't need to open the watch to learn the time: you can see the position of the hands through the opening of the case. A matching opening in the dial lets you watch the escapement tick back and forth (I find this both soothing and fascinating). The price is low considering the quality of the watch, and even lower when you consider the pleasure and pride of owning something so lovely.

I wasn't very happy with the XL I wear as being a large at best. I was even more unhappy about having to pay $12.00 to ship it back for a larger size.

Can't beat the old westerns, hopalong, roy, cisco, wayne, jingles, zerbo, mule skinners, buffalo hunters, conners, calvary, Injuns, bond, rowdy, and hundreds of others....It was story telling, adventure, romance, imagination, right from wrong, lone ranger and tonto, 20 Mule Team Borax, Death Valley Days, .....every Saturday....

They are excellent quality and very well made. The description suggested ordering 1 sizer larger which I did and my husband needed 2 sizes smaller but they were well worth reordering.

The perfect hat for our Tom Petty tribute band. Highest quality. Love the bling. Ask for hat padding if you need to buy this hat in a size a bit larger than your actual size. I bought a XL which was a bit big and the padding made it fit perfectly. We played a festival on the 4th and I got plenty of compliments. Thanks...

The skirt is just as pictured. They do run small so order two sizes larger than what you normally wear. The skirt is awesome!

This is a well made garment, simple in design, but with historic accuracy.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. The picture doesn't quite do the pattern justice. It's beautiful. It's handsome. It's going to make a nice costume piece. Price is what I'd expect, quality is good. Vest is adjustable. Only negative is that the sides pooch out under my armpits in the front. It's probably a risk with any sized (as opposed to tailored) menswear. But it's really hard to beat the value per price and selection of Historical Emporium.

WOW! What a great Duster! Wonderful quality! We do vintage car tours and having a duster is a necessity as the cars are open and can be 'messy'. This duster is very well made of heavy cotton. After a week of touring (and getting it dirty) it washed very well.

Purchased these to go with a vintage dress - they are great! The look is wonderful; the fit is good (I ordered up a half size and it was a good choice); they are quite comfortable for walking around. The only drawback is that since they are Faux Leather - they get hot. Received many complements and pointed everyone back to Historical Emporium.
