I wish the pockets on the women's vest would actually function. For at least a pocket watch. It otherwise fits and looks nice. The lack of pockets was disappointing as I will need to find a tailor to fix.

The safari jacket I ordered was, unfortunately too large and had to be returned. But the quality of the garment was excellent, far better even than hoped for.
When I contacted HE to return it, they responded quickly and issued a credit quickly too.

This blouse was pretty true to size, but did shrink slightly in the cold water wash, which was great for me. The blouse needs to be a bit more fitted, but a few darts will solve the problem, as wearing a corset gives
it much more structure and period authenticity. The blouse would be even greater if it was lined, as the material allows the corset to show, so must wear a corset cover. Overall, I love this blouse!

Fall front trousers
I was very pleased when I received the trousers, great quality, material and craftsmanship very true to the period. The whole costume is authentic looking. First pant size I ordered was too large (my fault) but the sales rep was very helpful answering on 3rd ring and had another pair in the mail that day, receiving it 2 days later. I look forward to doing business with this company again. Great job!

Nice coat!
I like this coat, I wanted one for a steampunk outfit and this fits the bill nicely. I have one small criticism and that's why I didn't give it five stars. It has no hip pockets. This may be because of historical styling, but I do find it a bit of a drawback what with car keys and the like. Still, it's a great coat and I love wearing it. The sizing is good (I did take note of the issue with US sizing since I'm in the UK) and it fits really well, looks good too.

Perfect
This is a very well made, tapestry waistcoat. It fits well, and looks and feels authentically vintage (as though it had been made in the mid to late 1800's). This waistcoat has an elegant feel and goes well with almost any variation of colours for shirts and trousers. I would highly recommend this vest and I have referred several people to the Historical Emporium web site! Orders are filled promptly, and delivery occurs quicker than expected.

Great pair of saddle pants.
I am 6'6", 250lbs. The size I wear is 38x38. I ordered the 40x36 and the waist was right on and the length fits perfect. Who would of thought these pants would fit since my length is 38. The material is of good quality.
I am going to buy me another pair.
