For the amount of money this blouse cost. I would think that it would not be so thin that you can see my skin through the material. I will have to wear something under it. I had to take the lacing out so it won’t pull at the lower buttons. If I bought a size bigger it would have been way too loose from the waist up. $65.00 was too much for the quality of this blouse.

The Tularosa is a medium-weight, warm, well-made cotton vest. Its attractive cotton weave smartly accents my 19th-century wardrobe, and I enjoy wearing it as a regular clothing item, not just for living history.

I received the pants and found them to be very bulky and wide for my legs. I had envisioned I could wear these pants in the winter casually, but they are more costume quality and oriented so I returned them accordingly.

I received the jacket and to me it is more of a costume piece than something you would wear to events...parties. The quality of the jacket material wise I thought was somewhat stiff and bulky for a velvet jacket.....again costume quality and look. The jacket is also not fitted so if you are slim fit...this is not for you either. I returned the jacket because it was not what I expected look and material quality wise.

I bought this vest for my husbands Halloween costume and he really likes it and asked if he can wear it for everyday if he wanted to. It is made really well. Good looking vest.

Received the jacket in just a few days after purchase. Very good looking and fits perfectly. I'll probably order another one in a different color just to have a change off. Material is thin and definitely not a winter jacket. Excellent weight for early spring through early fall. Late fall if you wore a sweater under it. The belt is extremely long so I make a double loop over the belt after pulling it in to size. I can't find anything negative about it so far. I really like it.

Love the belt and holster however I measured my size as directed and it fits good. I was able to wear it but on the last hole of the belt. it would have been nice to have more belt length.

I purchased these to go over the Granny boots that I got from here. There were perfect fo covering a little bit of my sock that showed above the boot top and they held everything together. I received many compliments on my costume and would definitely recommend Historical Emporium to anyone that seeks time period clothing.

Outstanding boots for the price. I wore these to my first Steampunk event this past weekend. I am not one to wear shoes that tie or have any kind of high heel. I am tall and didn't buy these for that. I am a member of Steampunk Society and I had to dress accordingly. I paired these with a pair of Ladies Spats.

I went to my very first Steampunk event this past weekend and I was very proud to wear this hat. I received many compliments on it and was asked where I got it. I was dressed in black and white and this was the perfect hat! Very well made!

Coat is well made, fits properly and looks great on. The only negative I might offer is that the nap of the lapel doesn’t seem to lie flat. It may be tailored incorrectly but it might just need a good pressing. I haven’t had a chance to sort it out yet. At any rate good value for the money spent.

This vest is very nice. It is slightly darker than the picture made it look. And it has some black in the front and the whole back is black. This isn't a problem but it would have been nice to know or see what the back looked like.

This emerald tie tack is fabulous - I absolutely love it. It goes Great with ANY colour tie and certain colours make the gem appear darker or lighter, but always sparkling in the lights. Highly recommendable.

This tie tack looks Great! There is an issue with this one though, at least the one I received. The clasp seems to LOCK on the pin, and is terribly difficult to take apart. It is for this reason I give this pin 3 instead of 5 stars.

The cotton twill walking skirt in black looks fabulous. I'm very impressed with the fabric quality, attention to detail, and price. I did order an XL large and returned it for the Large--the large fits beautifully and will allow for weight loss adjustments. Now, I have to find an instock blouse! This garment is for casual wear--it looks awesome with my Fluevogs--but it can also be glammed up for night life.

This is a functional magnifying loupe. And I'm happy with it for that and also that it swivels up, out of the way, when not needed. Three stars for the mounting clip. It needs to be modified to avoid a deep scratch to eyeglass lens! Not many modern eyeglass frames are deep enough for the clip to avoid contact with the eyeglass lens. Please be careful that way. Now that mine is modified, I am eager to use it. Also- a fun look for a costume!

Overall, I like the style and the material (cotton). Still trying to work out the best size. Even though I measured carefully and ordered according to the sizing chart, the shirt runs much smaller, esp shoulders and armholes. Consider ordering at least one size up if your height and weight are proportional. I like to layer clothing, so am now ordering two sizes up and hope the fit is ok.

Ordered this vest for my daughter. It arrived incredibly fast, the fit was was perfect, and the design was exactly as described and pictured. She was very pleased and received several complements.

Black canvas and good stitching. Black is a difficult color to dye in coarse fabric so the color is not quite as intense or consistent as I would like, but it is likely faithful to the period that in represents.
