These boots do run large, I wear a 10 in most shoes/boots so I did order a 10 but they were too big. I exchanged them for a 9 and they fit great. I really like how they are constructed, well worth the money.

I was a little lighter than I wanted and I didn't care foe the feel of the material. Exchanged it for the Highlander.

This is a great looking rich red and black combination. Nice for dressy or Holiday events.

This skirt is perfect! The back allows adjustments so that it fits quiet nicely. I used this skirt in my high school classroom for a simulation that we were doing and the students thought that the skirt with the Gibson blouse was delightful and helped to "set the stage" in the classroom for an era that has gone by. I have since decided to purchase the skirt in black so that i will have more options for next year!

The union suit is well constructed from quality heavy weight cotton. The Men's small fits my girlfriend well, and the union suit will keep her warm this winter when I am on the road - if the buttons would stay buttoned. The white buttons are a wee bit too small for the button holes and well, things just open when they shouldn't. Overall we are very satisfied with the union suit and a little red thread stitched at the slack button holes will help keep things covered and warm.

These are great and add to my wardrobe for formal wear today or reenactments, mens dress needs a boost at times with something different or colorful. so have some fun with it at times and you will be surprised with all the complements you will get .

I have been looking for good looking comfortable white leather gloves for Santa Clause for several year. I hesitated buying them a little due to the price as I only use them a few times a year. After getting them and using them I would have paid double. I plan to order another pair in a different color to use as everyday gloves.

I bought this to make a Santa work shirt out of. I changed the leather lace to a green ribbon and it works great plus it is a great feeling shirt.

This hat matches the hard felt top hat I bought from Moss Bros. PLC in 1970. It looks elegant, and I have dipped the brim a little more in front and back. I wear your hat with your town coats the first time I go a new affair. When I know that there is a safe place for the Moss Bros. Topper, I wear that hat next.

This is my 1st review on purchases. I have purchased many different items including this vest as well as pants/coats and have been very pleased with everything I have ordered. The quality of the items seems to be a cut above and the customer service is very good on any issues I did have. Mostly were sizing either too large or small. In the end I got what I wanted and will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Excellent quality, the only reason I gave it 4 stars was the leather color, the first belt I received was a perfect match to my holsters. The second one was so dark that it actually looks black instead of dark brown. But overall I am satisfied with the purchase, would purchase again.

After receiving aviators cap, try on was a good fit. Then came the job of buckling the chin strap with seventy year old arthritic fingers with moderate numbness. That didn’t go so good. The strap, buckle, and holes are very small. I think they could be larger without affecting the styling. A option of snaps or buckles could be a good feature. This is to replace do-rags, which in a cross wind have a tendency to blow off while riding scooter so will be put on and removed frequently. Think this will be a problem. Had one in seventys and eightys with snaps, not as nice as yours, different design, that was easier to use. Mite have to have leather repair shop remove and install some with snaps. The color looked terribly with khaki pants. So I tried to dye it black, it came out dark brown. It looks good. Thread and label didn't change color. Must be made of some kind of plastic. So it's dark brown with tan stitching. Looks good.

I purchased this vest to wear under my open Santa robe. The quality is not as good as other products I've purchased from Historical Emporium but the main issue is simply it is terribly hot. It holds heat in like a plastic bag. I wore it three different times, several hours each time and was miserable. Sweated and overheated. Wearing my black velvet from last year.

I bought this for my husband because he grew out his mustache and curls the ends, so he needed a new hat to go with his new look. I got the lined one and the quality is superb and fits beautifully. Thank you for making this available.

Excellent "pirate style" boot for professional or casual costume wear. Styling works beautifully, AND they are comfortable and well made. Completely undetectable that they are made of faux leather which of course drops the price of the boots considerably. Can't beat it for the approximate cost of $100! Very happy with the purchase. They will be used regularly for a costumed impression I provide for a local company.

Purchased ascot to compliment the recent smoking jacket purchase. I ordered the black ascot and the paisley pattern is subtle enough to see but not take away from the jacket. If you know how to tie a regular tie, same method just without having to tuck back down through for a knot.

The Vista blouse is super cute --- but the sizing is off. Based on reviews, I upped my size to M (38) from my usual Petite Small,(American size 6). That was good. BUT the fitted waist was way, way too tight. Sadly I had to return it -- and I loved the design!

I love this skirt! It's beautifully made and feels really nice on. It is a heavy garment so you might want to buy a size where the waist is snug so it doesn't feel as if it's pulling down. The only thing that would improve this skirt is pockets.

Love the gloves! I play guitar in a choral ensemble and we perform in Victorian costumes this time of the year. The gloves allow me to easily play the guitar while staying in character!
