This is a beautiful blouse but the listed size in not correct. We ordered a XXL and it fit more like something between a Large and an Extra Large. The front pleats are over done and over power the front with too much thickness. This detracts from the femininity of the overall design and places too much weight at the waist. This might be OK if you are super thin, but if you are anywhere near a "normal" woman, this is the last place you want to add volume. If you are a skinny little thing it could look cute, otherwise, go with something else.

Now I can look just like Sydney Greenstreet in "Casablanca".

I'm a big guy 56" waist and 50" chest, size xxxl fit perfect!!! I do believe that the fit was better with this item than any I have bought for regular use, I can't give you enough stars as 5 just isnt enough!! The material is fantastic, the stitching was impeccable, design is just . . . wow! Not sure how to put the Jabot back on yet, but its very fancy!!!

These are heavy, exceptionally well-made trousers. Like period trousers do, they sit extremely high on or even above the natural waist, and need a quality set of suspenders to complete the fit and look. They are easily hemmed (and can even be self-hemmed if you know what you’re doing; I happen to have a great tailor available to me!). Paired with the Livingston Brushed Cotton Frock Coat, and with the addition of a high-collar shirt and a nice waistcoat, the number of period/historical impressions that can be carried off is impressive. Wonderful value for the price; if you’re serious about historical dress (that can easily be worn in contemporary use) that isn’t “costumes”, these are the kinds of items to have in your wardrobe!

I bought the black single-breasted version of this vest two years ago. Last year, I added the double-breasted version in Crimson. I was so pleased with the unusual deep earth tone of the Crimson, I added the single-breasted version this year. They’re washable, durable, and work with a number of different dress styles, as well as being period authentic enough for various 19th Century dress opportunities. I’ll be getting more as I continue to increase my waistcoat collection! Thank you, Historical Emporium!

I’m using this frock coat for dress affairs (such as Dickens Fair, formal events, etc.), as well as for a welcome change to my concert/performance wardrobe! Heavy and extremely well-constructed, it takes a hefty chill off of a cold night, but breathes well, and isn’t as dense as wool. The brushed cotton finish is rich and soft.

Followed instructions for sizing and received the perfect fit. Quality of trousers is exceptional. Will definately return to expand the wardrobe.

What can I say other than that I have been more than satisfied with all my products purchased from the historical emporium. Great quality, and look. I received this holster within a week . However it was one size too large. Returned it for an exchange and received one size smaller within a week and fit like a glove. This is a quality piece at a reasonable price . Order with confidence and their Customer Service is EXCELLENT !

The raven on this walking stick looks nice and feels solid, and the stick is overall very good construction. As they say it's not made to replace a cane for walking, but it's strong enough that I'm not worried about it snapping if I put a little weight on it. It's the perfect accessory for the faerie ball that I'll be attending in a couple months, as a dark fae with a raven theme.

Love this coat. The construction is sturdy, like I've come to expect from Historical Emporium, and I like soft, almost "sueded" texture of the material. I'd almost wear it every day, I just worry that would cause the brushed cotton to pill in high wear areas faster than other materials. It's a few inches longer than I expected, the picture looks like it ends above the knees, but I'm 6' and it falls right about knee level - but that's not a problem.

Following directions, you'll find that the coat is way too large. Customer service allowed me to return the coat for a smaller size and that fit across the shoulders, but the sleeves extended beyond my fingertips. I had the coat taken in along the torso (shoulders to waist) and the sleeves taken up about 5" and Scotch Guard (to assist in staining / water). I think it will look exceptional when it gets back. Quality looks good. Drape was a bit wide and I had it tapered as mentioned. Coat is fully lined. Pockets are a bit shallow for my taste and I would like to have an inside pocket, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.

BRIM TO FLIMSY

I bought this holster for my Ruger Blackhawk .45 with 7.5 inch barrel. I use this gun as a side arm when hunting or camping in bear country so I wanted a reliable holster but had trouble finding any holster that would fit this gun. I took a chance with this one and am very happy with the quality especially for the price. I had to manipulate the leather slightly as the instructions that came with it said may be necessary and adjust the hammer loop which only required a little tugging. It came with 15 cartridge loops which is okay but there is room on the belt for more which would have been better. Sizing two inches above my waist worked fine with room to spare both ways. The leather tooling is excellent and best of all my wife thinks it looks sexy! I would recommend this product to a friend.

I love wearing this waist coat and I now have a black and a brown one. It looks great with anything shirt and I would recommend it to anyone.

I am sooo very proud of my new gun holster and belt!! I am a woman, living in the country, with rattle snakes, coyotes, bob cats, and even a mountain lion, for real, in our front yard. I love the outdoors, work outside and love landscaping work. Because of where we live, the wild life I have met face to face, I need a gun and holster. The holster is magnificent, fits superb at my hips, and allows me to work outside comfortably with it's comfortable fit and tie down for the leg holster, plus extra shells when I need them. Thank you for a beautiful product, very good quality, that I will wear every time I go outside, even over my old west dresses as well as work clothes. I am thrilled with my new rig!!

very good quality! really satisfied! anytime again. even when i have to order for europe. of course with transport and custom it was a high price but i guess i could not find it here in same good quality. over all....very good.

The belt looks nice but is not of high quality leather and has a bonded backing so it feels cheaply made, the two loops that hold the tongue down are super thin and cheap and probably won't last long. I'll keep the belt but would not buy another one of these.

as advertised. the fit was a little generic. will need some tailoring. will, however, order other items in the future.
