Attending one of our Curious Collectors of Baker Street (CCOBS) gatherings in costume as Sherlock Holmes faithful friend and ally John Watson, wearing a gray Tomlinson suit, which had everyone convinced. I absolutely love this suit.

Was so excited when box came with hat inside, I had been looking for a Derby for several YEARS. on opening the box I marveled at the beauty of the hat and couldn't wait to put it on. What happened next tore my heart in half. It did not come close to fitting. It literally sat on top of my head. I imagine it is maybe a 6 1/2 and my order was for a 2x. My head size, according to your size guide is a 2x and that is what I ordered. I rated you a one because someone, it appears, just threw a hat in the box and sent it out. I had hoped you would have been my future provider because of the difficulty of finding the right size but------. I am returning the hat and will accept a replacement IF the replacement is the 2x I ordered.

Believe me, my stomach tends to be my problem area This belt makes me look much more shapely than I am I do think it would be nice if some sort of elastic was added to this or to a new belt to accommodate an ever changing waist size from swelling and the like. Still, this belt is really well made and oh so flattering. Fun too.

Bought this as part of a saloon entertainer outfit. Love the style and I especially appreciate the short sleeves as performing during the summer in Texas is just plain hot, even indoors. It looks great with my Lydia skirt. Substantial material - way better than costume quality. The sleeve style is delightful as well. Historical Emporium does need a better photo of this black blouse The ruffles and the sleeve details do not show well in the existing photo.

I was not completely sure when I ordered this but it turned out great. Love the fun stripes and the cool yet substantial cotton material. The length was perfect without alterations. The skirt also offered decent fullness without being too full and it has a comfortable elastic waist. I did purrchase a cotton belt to go with it but it was lovely even without a belt. Good job!

It will be her 'something blue' and will be an elegant way to keep cool should the temperature ramp up. The product is lovely and of quality construction. It folds up easily and provides a terrific cooling breeze with the flick of a dainty wrist.

READ THE REVIEWS! luckily i read the reviews and ended up getting the correct size boots. You do need to order one size smaller for the mens riding long boot. i love the boots. for me being 5'9" the mens riding long boot with 17" height comes up to just below my knee. the reason i give the boots 4 stars instead of 5 is because i discovered with my particular pair, the left boot heel seam to the sole is not water or air tight. i noticed after putting powder into the boot and then inserting foot, a small amount of powder shows up on outside of heal on boot. i will jury rig it somehow with some type of sealant as i do not want to send the boots back and be without them.

Cotton is so soft. Nice long ties for bow in back. Completed the look of my outfit.

Sizing of this blouse is right on. Fits beautifully. Fabric is great quality and workmanship is first class.

Let me make this perfectly clear: I'm on old school biker with a number of leather cuts. I have always been a vest person, preferably leather. But when my youngest daughter began planning her wedding this summer she really trimmed her budget in a number of areas and wanted to keep things simple for the wedding party. She asked me to wear slacks, a vest, dress shirt and tie to give her away. The wedding will be outdoors in late July in the South (hot & humid). I wanted a vest that would breathe as much as possible in the heat but it also had to be well made and stylish. When I sent some links of the Livingston Black Brushed Cotton Vest to my daughter she was absolutely elated by it. She rarely gets excited about things, but she was certainly excited about how this vest looked. This vest looks and fits amazing. The crew at Historical Emporium treated me like a king with stellar customer service. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase, especially when it makes my daughter and wife happy.

This shirt was ordered for a character in a musical who is a romantic gentleman. The shirt is perfect for adding a scarf tie for a flamboyant look. The fabric is soft and drapey.

I ordered two shirts from Historical Emporium for a musical that I am designing costumes for. I decided that the other one met my needs better and returned the Marcus Regency shirt. This shirt is great and is a wonderful example of a Regency era shirt complete with removable jabot.

The gray spats look great and fit my actor just right!

This purse is not only beautiful, it is well made, true to the period and has 2 straps...one for the wrist and another you can use as a shoulder strap freeing both hands.

Needed a more formal blouse to go with a fancy Wash Day bustle skirt I sewed. This fit the bill perfectly. Well made, but fits quite snug in the bust while having almost hilariously long sleeves. Luckily a wash shrunk the cotton enough so that I did not need to alter the sleeves to make wearing feasible. Shoulder area fits per size. Next time I will order up a size. Lace is very pretty, love the ribbon detail on the sleeves, I got lots of compliments and your blouse ended up on the front page of the local paper!

Added this to my options for Steampunk outfits, fun to have some pattern to mix it up a bit! Well made, fits as expected.
