I love my Upton Vest in sage plaid. It is very nice and well made. It is not as textured as I expected, but it is a very nice vest.

I bought this ascot specifically because it complimented the color of the Emerson tweed Frock coat. I am quite happy with it. Generally, I prefer 100% silk neck-wear, but this ascot was so nice that I might have to revisit that prejudice against modern micro-fiber. I've already worn it several times and it is holding up splendidly.

I really like the Emerson Frock Coat. I usually stick to 100% cotton or wool, but this coat is a very nice blend. The material is soft and comfortable and it has the weight of an average sports coat. It seems to be the same material as the tweed Inverness coat. The flap pockets on the front are functional, not just for show. The detailing is solid. All around, this is a nice, well made Frock coat. I am delighted to have added it to my collection.

I love the detachable collar shirts offered through Historical Emporium. The previous collars, though, while serviceable, were a little on the weak side. They didn't hold their shape all that well. The new reinforced collars are great! Such an improvement! These collars have a real stiffness to them and stand up well to all day wear. I am very happy with the new reinforced collars as an upgrade!

My chest measurement (46) was on the border, so I needed to be sure. I e-mailed CS and received sound advise going forward with the XL. The Wheat color is correctly presented in photos 2-4. The more yellowish-tint or hue from photo 1 is not a good representation. I fell instantaneously in love, forevermore!

I'm certain I've secretly desired this exact shirt for my entire 45 years! I can add how the draw strings seemed too long at first and were somewhat annoying. But after the first wash they magically shrank to the perfect length as I used cold water with a medium heat drying-cycle.

I initially erred in size selection being concerned about the higher waistline (bigger belly). But the exchange process was seamless and I'm completely in love with every stitch. The sizing charts are accurate and consistent with my normal trouser size (38) even though my belly is slightly larger than my waist (40). And the buckled-adjuster on the back is completely functional for minor adjustments.

Love this coat. I had one a while back from this site, but I accidentally shrunk it trying to wash it, and donated it to a theater show I was in. I just bought a new one, and it's the same high quality as my old one. I don't think I can trust any other supplier. It's durable and made of sturdy fabric. How ever, working in a stuffy haunted house will make you sweat with this thing on.

Very nice bow tie with a great color and fit (adjustable). It�s standing out in a very positive way and the rust color goes with many other colors.

This was the only item in my order that matched my expectations based on the picture.

This blouse looks pure white in the picture, but is really ivory (which didn't match my intended skirt). Otherwise, I liked the fit on my slim, flat-chested body. The detached jabot collar doesn't really fit well around the blouse collar, so I probably would never wear it.

A really cool skirt that unfortunately isn't made for my body. I am slim with slim hips, and this skirt was way too big in the waist while fitting very snugly over my hips. It was also too long for me to wear, even with heels. I am 5"6".

I kept this blouse because I generally like the style, but it could definitely be better. According to the sizing chart I would take an XS. I purchased both an XS and S just to compare. Pay attention to the stated cuff measurement and realize that that has to fit over not only your wrist, but entire forearm as well! I have very scrawny arms, and I couldn't fully button the XS. The cut of the collar is also slightly uncomfortable. Although I can fit several fingers between the collar and my neck, it fits so that it kind of chokes in the front and gaps in the back. The body of the blouse fits well on my flat-chested frame. I'm also not looking forward to ironing this.

I have worn this sport coat several times. It fits very well and is the more modern slimmer fit through the arms and is very comfortable. The coat is well made and makes a good appearance. It's too good for wearing while smoking cigars: I'd hate to burn a hole in it!

Decided to go with the Brushed Cotton material since it is for events in the southern U.S. I will re-review after a few wearings. It is a rich color that with the appropriate coordinated vest will be a show stopper.

As with most hats from HE, this one does not disappoint. The hat is well made, elegant and surprisingly sturdy. This hat is slightly taller than a standard derby making it look a bit more formal. If you collect as I do, this one is a must. The compliments strart almost immediately. Thank you once again to Historical Emporium.

Awesome Gauntlets, they fit "like a glove" one might say. They look good, they feel good, over all they are a good product.

I was really impressed with the quality of the material, not mention how comfortable it is as well. This is a perfect coat for the mad scientist costume you want. I wore this to my local comic con and it went over way better than I imagined it would. My only nitpick was how long the coat was. I put it on and it went all the way down to almost a half inch from the floor. But fortunately, it was an easy alterations fix. Worth every penny for the mad scientist in anyone.

I've used this for a couple cosplays. It is expensive, but the quality of the material is worth it. I absolutely love this thing! If you don't mind paying good money for good quality, i recommend this. It went perfect for my Junkenstein (Overwatch) cosplay.

I am a competitive chuck wagon cook and must dress in period correct clothing that could have been worn on the trail. I have several other pieces of clothing, and the vest really compliments the look. It fit well, and is easy to maintain.

Very nice boots! Hard to find good mens leather knee high boots like this, and these are very well done. Plan on wearing these for multiple reasons! One boot fit slightly larger than the other one, but another sock fixed the problem fine.

I have been searching on-line for nearly ten years for a new, affordable Norfolk Jacket. I even tried some local tailors to one one made, but they didn't know what it was. The price for the jacket was very good. The fit wasn't as good as I would have wanted (but there only was Small, Medium and Large). My measurements were closest to Large. Fortunately my wife is an expert sewer and was able to alter it to fit beautifully. Finding a pair of matching brown slacks proved very difficult-but eventually got a nice pair. I am now looking for a dark brown woolen tie to finish the outfit. Given the styling of a Norfolk, fit is critical. I recommend that anyone that buys one of these be prepared to have it altered by a tailor.

Ever since I was a kid, I have LOVED this look in film. I kept watching this item over the past two years and finally just ordered the darn thing...lol. SO GLAD I DID! It's a heavy weight, but that's OK, it's rare that you not only get "what" you paid for but MORE than you paid for, but this is one of those purchases.
