I ordered these for a staring performer in an Opera production. The first pair was too big (size 8) Mostly I attribute this to the fact that our performer really didn't know his true shoe size. Anyway, the size 7 was perfect. The price was high for us, but I think since these are made of real leather, they will last a long time.

What great Shoes! I get more compliments on these shoes than any other I own. They fit well (I have wide feet),they are comfortable and beyond stylish. Yesterday twice I was stopped by people commenting on my shoes and one of them took a picture. I gladly told them where they could find them. I'm a pastor and the First Sunday in May following Easter we celebrate "Holy Humor Sunday." For several years I have dressed up as Freddie The Freeloader or Clem Kadiddlehopper who are two of my most favorite Red Skelton characters. This year the title of my sermon was "Have You Taken The Plunge" and the idea came to me to dress up as a 1890's gentleman swimmer. The Garvey Shirt is actually a Rough Rider Shirt (says so on the tag). It is nice, but way too heavy wool. I think it may be too heavy to wear even in cool weather (?). I am thinking of returning it. Editor's note - The fabric is a heavy cotton twill.

I'm not happy with the product. At all! Just not what I had in mind. The fit is terrible, the material is substandard and the overall product is dreadful. The fact the organization sent me an invitation to review the product is a reminder to return the trousers for a refund. Yuck!
