The materials the clothing are made from are high quality and very authentic ... true to history! They give a very custom look and feel ... it's possible that these articles may be found elsewhere, but I bet it is hard to find, the selection is limited, and the efficiency of ordering is probably more cumbersome. Historical Emporium has figured out how to effectively operate a very niche market.
Trust the size recommendations given on the website ... they know what they are talking about ... these aren't contemporary clothing styles ... they are historic styles, and therefore have differing sizing systems from todays clothes.
I had one article of clothing sent in the wrong size (simple mistake), but Historical Emporium's customer service department was efficient and fixed the problem, no questions asked ... a very easy exchange!

No petites offered
I had to pay $50 to have this twill cotton skirt altered - it was about 5 inches too long. I sent it back the first time; don't read the reviews that state it is too small. I usually wear a 2X fitted but ordered a 3X because of previous reviews. That was a mistake; the 2X was the correct size, but again - no petites were offered and I had to have this altered.

The Tops of the Top Hats
This hat is excellent in appearance, and very well constructed. It is ideal for a tall man as its height is proportionate for a tall person. My head size is a bit larger than the Large size but not large enough for Extra Large so I used a hat jack to stretch it a bit. It fits perfectly! I wore it for the first time at my installation as Worshipful Master of my Masonic Lodge and it was a hit! I shall wear it at all meetings of my lodge, as the Master is supposed to do.

Watch fob
This item is really more of a watch fob than a watch chain. It was what I was looking for however. I wish that Historical Emporium carried a larger selection of this type of item. I am pleased with it and it does attract attention when it is on display. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

Historical emporium has great customer service, I emailed them to ask about the fit of these boots and what size they would recommend. They got back to me very quickly and the size they recommended was a perfect fit.The boots seem to be historically accurate and good quality leather.

Longhorn Shirt
The shirt is very well-made and the fit is excellent. However it is VERY LONG, and I ordered the regular length. It's not a problem, but I'm not used to wearing a shirt that completely covers my butt underneath my pants.

Nice gun rig
The gunboat and holster are very nice quality for the price. It's not a competition rig, nor is it advertised as such but for weekend plinking - it's perfect. Nicely finished quality leather. Strong sewn seams. I strongly recommend it as long as it's not competition you have in mind.

Terribly uncomfortable
If you're standing around in them and not moving, they may be decent shoes but walking around, not so much. My heels are nothing but gigantic blisters. Great looking shoes, but terrible for comfort and function. I've tried moleskin and such, and while it helped a little - still terrible shoes. A shame, because they look amazing...

These are the absolutely most INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL booties!!! I got them because I have total foot drop and experimented with shoes that would hold my ankles at 90 degrees, and these have the perfect size little heel, and not only did I get my 'walk' back, but I get so many compliments on them!!
NO MORE BRACES UP TO MY KNEES FOR SUPPORT.....I AM ONE HAPPY CAMPER and will be getting more 'booties' in other colors!! THANK YOU for such a HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT, THEY ARE INCREDIBLY WELL MADE AND CAME PACKED SO WELL!!!
