This was my first experience with Historical Emporium. I am new to 19th century portrayals having only done 18th century to this point. My past experience with sutlers was a mixed bag but I learned enough to make sure you go to the right place for the correct clothes. I had a large order with your company and wanted to make sure everything was correct and sized right. I called and spoke with one of your customer service representatives and he took the time to go through each item with me and talk about the way it would fit when it arrived. I couldn't have been happier when I received my items. Everything was quality construction and the sizing was spot on. I thought that maybe there would be shortcuts taken and was worried they may look like costumes instead of clothes. These were real clothes made to be worn. Exactly want I needed for my living history job! The pricing is great compared to the quality of the clothing. Thanks Historical Emporium for making me a happy customer that will be back.

I ordered several items and they all arrived quickly, packaged nicely and pretty much what I expected. One word of advice is that the items might be better packaged to prevent wrinkles. I had to iron the vest and frock coat from it being folded tightly into the box. Other than that a good experience. Quality of materials and tailoring are nice. I'll be back!

excellent Value

Beautiful fabric fine tailoring , lovely suit. We would buy one in every size if we could get it!. Lots of pockets and it will fit in with our stick of 1920's The two high placed buttons on the front were a bit odd, but overall the construction and quality was superior quality. Service was quick.

This shirt was not for me

I received the shirt but returned it, wasn't what I thought. The color is great but it had more of a denim feel to it. Fits Perfectly

Western 45 Holster

Received my holster Chocolate Brown in about 3 weeks, looked it over noticed the detail leather work on the belt and holster very nice. My pistol fits well in the holster. At first I thought I need one size larger but trying it on a few times it works just right. Did notice blemishes from tanning dye , a streak on the belt and smudge top of holster most will never notice. Is it worth the money definitely yes . Thick leather, secure fit and great looks. Fits my pistol and can use it on other western firearms . A good buy.

Amazing Hoslter

Better than expected

I am a docent in an historical home every Christmas season. Usually decked out in hoops, petticoats and a fabulous dress from the 1860s, I chose to do something easier this year so I could dress myself, be more comfortable, and not knock the ornaments off the tree. Going Edwardian, some 30 years later, was the answer. When this suit arrived, I was delighted to see the quality of the material and sewing. This is not a costume; this is a handcrafted piece. All it needed was hemming. With a black belt, hat, and the proper blouse and jewelry, this is a stunning outfit.

Well made

Well made and sized correctly. After strapping it to a log, the same diameter as my hips, to shape it out, inserted guns, squished the holsters down to fit snug, adjusted the hammer strap with a tug and the rig has worked out great.
