My initial vest arrived with a defective top button hole, it was sewed too close to the edge of the hole, and had cut through the materiel. This was on a Friday, and I call their Cust service right away. They asked me to email a photo of the problem. I was eager to get a replacement, as the event I needed it for the following Sat. I emailed the photos, and they emailed back in about an hour, saying that a replacment would be expressed shipped out, and include a pre-paid return label for the defective vest. It arrived Thurs, in time for my event. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service - you now have a very happy customer who will be a repeat buyer

I recently received my inverness cape and love it. I've been looking at it for a while and finally purchased one with some money from Christmas. Delivery was very quick. Though I haven't been able to wear it yet I'm looking forward to it. Seems very well made. It is very roomy as some have reviewed but is meant to be draped not fitted. I'm 5'10" at 150 lbs. and the length hits just below mid calf. Plenty of length to cover my Dickens inspired burgundy tail coat in which one of my sister in-laws custom made. Will give another review after getting some use.

This holster set-up is the finest workmanship East of the Pecos. Don't be fooled by those half priced imitations. Those are sewn in the back so they save on leather. This belt is one piece, end to end. Those holsters (and probably the belt also) are only finished on one side. So the exposed face at the gun grip is not the same as the belt. The tooling is exquisite, I didn't see a flaw anywhere. And the two tone staining gives it the old time original look.

careful on size

Having to exchange this vest for probably one at least one size up. Bought other vests at the size ordered and they fit fine. Not so much with this one. Ordered an XL and cannot even get the buttons buttoned. I would say be careful on sizing with the particular vest. The quality is great and the buttons are very well attached. Material is exquisit, stitching is great, love the vest. Just need to exchange for larger size. v/r Mik

Very Disappointed

The material is awesome but, this is a historical emporium fail. The backs of the buttons are plastic nothing like the other vests I have. Stitching seems to be outstanding. Will be returning the vest because the button came off the first time I wore it. If you are buying one of these vests, make sure to buy on the big side. The buttons do not have the strength for a form fit at all. Very disappointed in this particular vest. v/r Mik

First planter/Tomstone style felt

So I've worn Stetson straw and felt cowboy hats almost daily for 15-20 years. This is the first of purchase, of a lid that is not sized by inches and, I did not try on prior. For the price and the fact that I'll shape it to my style/personality, I'm quite pleased. This lid will ware sooner than heavier felts yet, the ware will be a great contributor to the look I seek. I still ware my straw most of the time but, now when stepping out I'll be someone with assured presence. Cause let's face it, somebody's got to have some style. Add my duster and it's hillbilly deluxe. Billing, shipping and overall service was very pleasing.

The holster was more than i expected.the smell of new lether was sweet..sizing was perfect(wast is42 ordered 46}.5 mins of pushing and pinching and my 1873 peacemaker fits like a glove
