With these spats and RIT dye in the proper colour to give me Old Etonian blue, I will finally attain my dream of being a walking Bertie Wooster reference with Old Etonian spats! ....now I just need to pin down the proper dye formula. Mwa ha ha. As always, the spats themselves are lovely. Good materials, solid construction, I can not own enough pairs.

The tag on this pull-over shirt calls it a Shiloh. sounds so historical! Heavier-than-usual cotton weave feels comfortable with a tee-shirt or tank top under it. This shirt can take a beating in any reenacting situation. Classic 19th century design fits right in with CAS situations. Add a western tie and vest for those times when a cowboy wants to spruce up a might. I wear a lamb skin leather waistcoat with it. Not so much historical 19th century western as common in the old western TV shows from the 50's & 60's. This shirt can also be seen in those old western shows and movies. It's a tough, yet good looking design that belongs in your cowboy wardrobe.

The blues of the Japanese print are even lovelier in person than the photo. This will be very handy if I ever attend a crowded function again. Meanwhile I have time to learn to speak the language of fans...

Why just protect your hands when you can keep your entire arm virus-free? Seriously, these gloves make me feel like a grown up finally at 67! Maybe too grown, because the top couple inches pinched my bulging bicep a bit, so I just pushed them down further.

I don't know when or if there will be dancing again, but I will be prepared if it happens with these pseudo-authentic stockings. Close enough for me, who wants baggy hose?

I love the texture and colors on this shawl, very elegant. The velvet also makes it warmer than most wraps and in Illinois that is a good thing.
