The ítems I bought were exactly what I envisioned and wanted. The quality Of the material was better than expected, unlike a costume with cut corners and shoddy construction.

I have been wanting to start dressing vintage full time but I wasn't sure where to start. I found historical emporium and was very impressed with what they offer. At first I thought the men's suits were too expensive. Then I looked elsewhere and discovered Historical Emporium has the best price. I even contacted customer service regarding a suit size and I hear back from them extremely fast. I purchased the Atherton Brown wool houndstooth 3 piece suit and I am extremely satisfied. I was a little worried about the quality since their suits seemed to be less expensive than other suits I had found online. The quality of the suit is really up there. My husband who has managed very high end retail stores such as Hermes was really impressed with it too. To complete my ensemble I purchased a detachable collar and a shirt to go with it as well as a plethora of ties. I have not limited myself to dressing in just one decade. I have chosen to dress I. Anything styled from the 1910 to 1940's. I definitely will be returning to add another suit to my new and growing vintage style wardrobe

I ordered a pair of pants. Received them in 3 days. The pants were the correct style and size. The fact that you receive shipping alerts is just dandy. I will definitely order from them again

I had a mistake when I placed the order on line. I selected the wrong color. As soon as I caught it I called customer service. The order was corrected immediately and within minutes I had the 'your order has been shipped email'. That, my friend, is great customer service. However, I'm not sure why sales tax is charged. I don't live in California.
