This recent purchase was part of my first order from Historical Emporium. I am astonished by the quality of the workmanship and the excellent fit. At the back of my mind I guess I was wondering,'costume?' I was wrong! This vest is something I will be wearing for years to come!

Good pants, heavy 100 % wool so it will likely last. A very workman like trousers, which is what i need for digging the spuds, or walking my Irish Woolfhound. You cant beat wool pants on a rainy day. Cotton kills, but wool thrills. Now if only they had 100% wool hering bone tweed as well , I might never buy trousers anywhere else.

This is a well-made, handsome jacket. I bought it for my son as a gift. Unfortunately, the sleeves are way too short for a 40L size.

These are fantastic boots. I have been eying them longingly for a while and finally ordered. As of this review, I have been wearing them for several weeks and have to report that they are excellent! The leather is high quality. These are well made, serviceable boots that would easily stand up to a day in the saddle--they are not cosmetic props. I was a little concerned at first because I have a difficult time getting a good fitting shoe, so I am cautious about ordering footwear I can't try on first. The other reviews are spot on about the sizing. The boots run large, so order down. I wear orthotics and envisioned winter hunting socks, so I ordered a 9 when I normally wear a 9.5 I have my orthotics in and thick socks and have a near perfect fit (they are actually just a tad on the roomy side, but that's what I wanted). Great boots!
