I think this blouse really nails the vintage look and feel that it was trying for. Not too sheer for a while blouse, which is good. I'm glad that someone said it runs small--it sure does. I'm not big at all, especially on top, and the Medium JUST about fits me. Size up but give it a try. It's very pretty.

They look great and fit great around the waist, but I won't really be able to tell till I get them back from the tailors that are hemming them in a week and a half and can actually wear them in public. And are there no laundry directions sewed on the pants themselves? Editor's note: The care tag is inside the right leg seam.

I ordered this blouse for a play I'm in, and the look is Perfect!! The attention to detail (appropriate tucks, long cuffs, etc) is excellent. Shipping was incredibly fast and email communication was great. I am delighted to have found this store - I love having an alternative to the (apologies in advance) - "cheap stuff from C..." that seems to be the only option on Amazon. My only quibble (and it really is just a quibble) - I washed it so that it wouldn't look brand new. It washed fine, no shrinkage or anything... But ironing it... Oh man. It takes a LOT of ironing! Ha, I guess it's been a long time since I owned anything that was pure cotton, I'd forgotten how hard it is to get the wrinkles out. ;) Eventually I went out and bought a new iron! LoL (And yeah, I know this sounds kind of contrary: "so she doesn't want it to look brand new, but she's fussing about getting it perfectly ironed." I can only say there's a difference between straight-out-of-the-box and used-but-tidy, which fits the character I'm supposed to portray.) Overall, I'm really happy with the item and will definitely turn to the Historical Emporium for future costume needs!

Nice it fits a big guy like me so well. The additional strength of the suspender rivets is darn nice, and hold my old suspenders to my shoulders just fine. We are presenters at a local historical museum, and the reactions have been fine.

I purchased this fast draw holster for my replica .45 Old West Revolver. It is definitely "fast draw"! The pistol can be cocked and drawn from this holster with lightening speed. Cheaper holsters are not designed to allow the cylinder to rotate, when cocked, while in a holster. Love my solid make rig! It took me three times to find the right fitting holster. It was worth having to return/exchange holsters to finally get the right fit! Worth the money.

I was looking for a specific western holster in a dark brown color with tooling. I either could not find one in the correct size, or the ones I did find were not affordable. When I found the Historical Emporium, I found exactly what I was looking for at a very fair price. The people there were very helpful and kind. The coat is heavy duct canvas. I ordered it a size smaller knowing that I will probably never close it up. I'm a XXL and the XL fit perfectly. Sleeves are long so they may have to be shortened. I'm a 34/35 length.Just a tip, I put the coat in the washer under hot water along with fabric softener. Then into the dryer at hot also. The coat comes out a little softer with minimal, if any, shrinkage.

The material is great, the construction is sturdy, and the design is perfect! I was a little nervous about the price point but it is well worth it 10/10

Sturdy construction and leather. Will support holster and bowie knife without problem.
