First pair of suspenders for me in decades. Perfect fit and necessary for the high waist pants. Functional and yet dressy enough for the 1890's mortician.

This tie definitely upgraded my costume. Much classier that the string tie. Fits in well with the formal 1890's mortician outfit.

The classic high waist pants were not only comfortable, but also had the feel of a tough, old time pants that would last in the old West. The best thing about the high waist was that the lack of a belt interfering with my holster. Very important for Cowboy Action Shooting. Very satisfied with these pants, just gotta get them hemmed, can't walk around with them rolled up! The dark black definitely fits in with my 1890's mortician outfit, hope they fade less than Levi's. Shipping came in much quicker than expected on the West coast.

Historical Re-enactment and movie. Only thing I had to do was remove the tag from the hip of the trousers. They look nice and will work just fine for what we are doing.

I am a pastor and occasionally I have an opportunity to do a service that requires a vintage Parsons outfit. I'm going to be speaking at the 100th anniversary of the Easter sunrise service at a famous rock in my city that has been used by traveling preachers since 1837. My other vest was getting a little too tight so I needed a bigger one.

Exactly what I needed to add to my collection of tie tacks to choose from.

No special occasion. I have several shirts that require the studs and I wear them often.

Very nice fitting coat as well as attractive.

The Brewster frock coat made by Scully runs much larger than the Historical Emporium frock coats. Also the lining is not as tight fitting as the Historical Emporium brand. When I tried the coat on the lining protruded beyond the sleeve and had to be pulled back into the arm. The Morning Coat in the same size as the Brewster fit well where the Brewster was quite a bit larger. Curious to know if this is a one off or common between the two coats. Editor's note: The Brewster Frock Coat is modeled on a style from the 1860s. That decade was known for their coats being large and somewhat blocky in style. In contrast, morning coats were made to fit closer to the body for a sleeker style.

We attended a Murder Mystery Weekend set in 1890 and I wanted a coat for the occasion. The size was perfect and I really liked the styling. It took me less than five minutes on the website to find what I needed and order it.

I ordered a 2XL, which is slightly too large for me (XL is almost too small, and 2XL is too big). The jacket is very nice and very attractive, but it is very large through the shoulders. I may have to have the jacket altered for better fit (but I accepted that eventuality when I ordered the 2XL). The items I ordered arrived quickly and in good condition. I look forward to future purchases from Historical Emporium. I love the styles -- apparently, I was born at least 100-years too late.

Definitely Measure Yourself Instead of Assuming! I'm a shorter, curvier person who likes a bit of wiggle room in my clothes. I've been wanting this for ages, and when I finally got it I ordered the wrong size not once, but twice! Why? Because I'm used to always getting a 3x/4x , and then the 3x was too big, so I went to med/large, which was just a barely too small to close! And finally, I got the perfect size (XL/2X), which fits PERFECTLY. I can now live my stylish mad scientist dreams, and look absolutely amazing doing so. This labcoat looks nice on the body, making a great silhouette, and makes the user -- or me, in this case -- feel confident. It's amazing quality, too!

To date I have bought 3 vests in different styles. I am fully pleased with the craftsmanship and intend to keep buying from your company.
