This is the second derby hat I've purchased from Historical Emporium. I'm very pleased with the quality and the fit. Would recommend to a friend. I'm planning to purchase other items in the near future.

I was searching online for dresses that would resemble styles from this time period, not expecting I'd find one that is more like a recreation AND at a price I could afford. I didn't buy this to use as a costume (although I could of course do so) but simply as a dress for any occasion I'd want to dress up since it's just my personal style. I contacted customer service to ask for some more detailed measurements of the dress, and they responded very quickly with all the information I needed. Since my measurements are currently a bit between two of the sizes I went with the larger and figured I can have alterations made it necessary. Surprisingly, I don't think I'll need to. Even more surprisingly, the torso and the sleeve length of the dress are more than adequate for me - and I'm 6 feet tall! Overall, this dress appears to be well made, it has lovely detail to it, and the cotton fabric has a really nice thickness and softness. I already have my eye on some of the blouses and I've told a friend about the website because it's just such a cool find.

Will be wearing this as part of my ensemble for my son's wedding in November. Looks fantastic and can't wait to look the part.

I initially ordered the wrong size. The return and refund was very quick. I spoke to customer service and they were friendly and helpful regarding the reorder. The gun belt is beautifully made of top grain leather, I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.

This is not the first one of these I've bought. The ones I have for myself have held up over several years of occasional use. This was for my niece's "white coat" ceremony, now that she has proven herself in the family ranks of super geniuses.

This is ridiculously tall, which was what I wanted. The weight of the hat is good, and the size matches the measurements and size chart. Material is sturdy and looks great. Sewing looks like it will hold up well.

These fit my girlfriend's hands well, although the fingers were a bit long (unisex sizing will do that). Cuff was a good length, and the material is soft and supple. These completed the outfit perfectly.

LOVE YOUR HATS

The shirt fit as expected per the measurements and sizing chart. The quality of the fabric and sewing are excellent. Sleeves were a bit longer than expected, but that gave a good, baggy/slouchy sleeve look, which I liked. The collar and shoulders were proper tightness to complete the high-collar look for my outfit.

Good leather, well stitched with a belt loop that can fit a 2" belt. The shape can be adjusted somewhat by pressing on the side. It fits a Rem 1858. Has a safety loop for the hammer and a leg tie down.

Nothing like 19th Century elegance. This smoker's cap has made me very happy. I like old stuff. Thank You for offering said cap. Great work Historical Emporium.

This pinstripe blouse was very appropriate for my black riding pants! The size was just right an the material is perfect. I need vintage attire for riding our old time bicycles at events with my husband. The outfits i have bought from here are of very good quality and i highly recommend!

I am 5’7”, 195lbs. I ordered the med/lrg. It is big. I knew it would be long after reading the reviews and expect it to be loose but it is BIG. I feel like a child in my dad’s shirt. I’ll attempt to talk my partner into some alterations for a better fit. All that said, this is a nice lab coat. Heavy fabric, much better than a costume piece. It does have a chemical/plastic smell, I believe from packaging or storage. If adequate measurement were added I’d give this 5 stars. Overall nice product.

I'm absolutely in love with this skirt. You can tell from the second you pick it up that the fabric is of very high quality, and there is a lot of it. The pictures don't do justice of how much material there is, and I get endless delight from how wide the legs are in "pants mode". The silhouette is just what I was looking for, and I am really excited for an opportunity to wear it in "skirt mode" for a different costume. I also really like the buttons -- I had been planning to switch them, but seeing them in person changed my mind. HE never lets me down!
