Over the years, I have purchased four blouses and several skirts for my Victorian time period. I have always been very pleased with the quality and service. I have found the skirts to run a little large in the waist, but there are extra buttons to make easy adjustments. Blouses are always my perfect fit. Various jewelry purchases always get compliments. There have been occasions when I chose Historical Emporium garments because they are shipped more rapidly than competitors. My husband has a full Victorian outfit from Historical Emporium that he is proud to wear, plus two different top hats. He carried the grey one in his car to put on whenever visiting our History Center!

The customer service representative was knowledgeable about the situation! There was a minor delay in delivery, but it was resolved quickly! Historical Emporium was not at fault! The issue was with USPS!

Along with my my side draw, low ride holster, two gun Toby will ride again. (And I once found out why men should ride tall in the saddle)
The quality of my holsters is beyond reproach. Not even a scratch in the leather and my 5.5" Remington fits like it was a custom made holster.
Once fitted, my gun draws without a hitch.

Fit and finish is great. Not so much as a scratch on the leather and my 58 remingtons fit perfectly after fitting.
The holsters, one, a rh side draw and a rh crossdraw balance the weight perfectly.

A little small for a large
Usually I can wear a large for anything that does not have shoulders. Was unable to make the buttons "go". As a Medium this was great (for my medium sized friend).

Good vest
The vest looks great, of course. It's a bit tight around the middle; I had trouble buttoning it when I wore period high-waisted pants with it, but with modern pants it fit just fine. The fabric-covered buttons are hard to handle, though; I may replace them with metal buttons.

Used the size chart to get the right size, when they arrived I tried them on they were so big they fell off

They fit well around the waist, but sadly, the legs and backside were far too baggy.

Classic blouse for any time or occasion
Worn with classic honey-colored Edwardian suit. Very comfortable and well made. I always sew in a Velcro spot at the neck seam if anticipating wearing a broach. The invisible spot reinforces the seam placement when holding the extra weight of the broach and prevents gaping.

Perfect example of woman in the early 1900's
Representing the mother of a late 1800's-1900's western writer at Colorado Springs CO Legends & Lore Cemetery Crawl. I an in my early 80's, as was she, so big skirts and flowers are too frivolous. My Edwardian suit represented my character perfectly. I seldom find a yellow that I can wear, but the deep honey was flattering. Lots of "Ohs" and "Lovelys" from the audience. Definitely represented the changing time periods splendidly!

Fun piece to wear with 19th-20th century transition costume
Representing an older character in the Colorado Springs CO annual Legends & Lore Cemetery Crawl. Her date is 1906, moving from Edwardian to "modern" simplicity. This lovely broach complements my honey-colored Edwardian suit and honors the last of the Victorians. Ladies don't throw away a good piece of jewelry! They wear it with pride and, a certain amount, of defiance!

I'm using this coat to concierge at my theater job. This coat is perfect for warmer weather. Sizing does run a little small, especially on top. Measurement chart is accurate but if you're on the line of sizes, I recommend ordering a size up. I did have to exchange and was pleased with the promptness of the process. Delivery was fast for both original order and exchange. Can't wait to wear it!
