I really like this lab coat. Nice, heavier fabric, sturdy buttons and overall solid workmanship. What keeps it from a five star review are two things - both related to the collar. First, I have now given up on Historical Emporium collared tops because everything I have ever ordered with a collar is at least two sizes too large around the neck. This lab coat is unfortunately no exception to that pattern. I wear a 16.5 in collared shirts, so I do not have a toothpick neck, and ordered a M/L size for this coat. Great fit everywhere except at the collar, which is at least an inch and a half big on me. The second ding is the collar height. It's way too tall. This is a style choice that I should have noticed before ordering, but I assumed/hoped that the collar would be the same height as every other Howie coat sold elsewhere. It's not. Ironically, if the collar height were lower, the collar sizing issues I mentioned earlier wouldn't be a problem because the garment collar would only come up to the base of the neck, like a mock turtleneck, instead of mid-neck like this one.

I love unlined gloves. These are soft, flexible and appear extremely well made. I bought them for a costume but they are now daily wear. Just wish they came in black!

I'm what is known as a serial kilter . Which simply means if I'm not at work I'm in a kilt. The cape I bought will be a great addition to my outfits in the winter when it gets cold here in Ohio and I'll still look stylish and look even better once I remove it. It's very pleased with the quality and it was worth the price. Be ordering from you soon.

Few times do I find that the actual product is close to the picture. This time was better than I expected and very solid quality. Pretty easy to adjust to the correct circumference. Given this site's variety of options, I know where to shop first when looking for costume ideas. Personal tip - when needing this tie to remain exactly in the same, correct spot on my collar through the evening, I used Fearless Delicate Fabric Tape which did the job perfectly well. Combined, my costume (mostly from Historical Emporium) help up in quality and use for a long party, and is ready for any future event.

Love the holster which is excellent quality. My single complaint (if worthwhile) is that the wrap around providing the angle is pretty loose which limits how far you can angle the holster. Will need to make some modifications to create more angle.

My grandmother owed me a BDay present from last year, so she agreed to get this for me, all she needed to do was hem the length a bit so they fit properly. Now all I need is a vest, proper shoes, and one more hat for the outfit to be complete, it makes for great ranch work clothing. Thank you guys so much!

I had purchased a black aviator helmet prior for fall and winter driving in an open classic vehicle. The black leather gets a tick warm on high temp days. So I purchased this Faux Leather Helmet which is made out of cloth for warmer days. It is as advertised and fits quite well. So let's say if you wear a large size leather, this one will fit. Anything bigger than large it will not. Good value in my book.

My usual style is Western wear, but hard to find quality inTall sizes. When I checked some shirts offered by Historical Emporium, the ones I liked didn't come in a Tall size, so I emailed to complain.They said they do offer some in Tall, so I looked again and found this gem of a vest. Looks way better than the online photo!

The vest looks great in photos, but in real life it looks like a mediocre print, silkscreened gray on a black surface. I suppose I imagined that it had some texture to it, but no it's flat. I also hoped the gray was more like silver with a sheen to it, but its a matte finish. Decently stitched and ok material so I gave it a middle rating.

They are lovely and comfortable. The buttons are stamped with butterfly design. The finger tips for touch on electronic devices are a bit clumsy but once you adapt they work as promised.

Nice fit and will be warm/classy look to wear in the winter months ahead.

I purchased this not for historical purposes but as a layering option. We've had a few cold days so far here in southern Wisconsin, and the Inverness Cape has performed very well. It's quite warm, and though I was worried about sizing since it's a one-size garment, it fits me well. Even generously; I'm 6'0" with 34-inch sleeves and the cape falls just above my wrists and mid-calf. I've worn it over a collared shirt and over a fleece hoodie, and I'm confident that it will fit over a heavier coat as well. The one criticism I'd offer is that the front of the cowl is liable to blowing open in the wind. A button to secure the cowl in front would be a convenient addition, though possibly not historically faithful to the garment as worn originally. I might work with a tailor to add some method of securing the cowl against the wind. But that's a minor point; I would still buy this cape again and I'm quite happy with the purchase.

I wear good clothes all the time, and this Vest, with its unique fabric, and excellent construction (I especially like the four pockets) is a favorite, because it can be either formal or informal or both at the same time.

I bought this coat to wear when going out with friends in our Victorian garb for Christmas events and other occasions. I was very nervous about buying something like this online, without trying it on, but the fit was fine. The sleeves are just a bit longer than I would prefer, but only an inch or so. I am not a large person, so that is to be expected. The feel and weight of the coat seem perfect.

This is my second holster from Historical Emporium. I received the holster last week, and I was very pleased with it. I was unsure what size to order because my hips are smaller than my waist. I called and got advice for the right size so it fits well. The only problem I had was that it was difficult to slip the cartridges in their holders with my arthritic hands. Anyway, I succeeded, but the .357s will probably stay there as I will shoot the cheaper .38s.

I hardly over get to say this but it is larger in the chest area. Well constructed and looks good.
