Collar button buttons up nicely . No more fights with putting on a tie . Will say collar needs starch to lay correctly . Very pleased with the purchase .

Have been looking for a new watch chain for my Grandfathers RR Hamilton . This chain was just right . Since men's trousers have eliminated watch pockets , it's become difficult to find good watch chains . Very pleased with this one .

Bought mostly for attending church service . Having the trousers altered as I wear a 48 coat and 36 waist trouser . Also bought two white shirts one club collar and one standing collar , very pleased with both . Thanks so much !

Quality of sewing is not very impressive, not well finished and pretty cheap quality. Not impressed with the manufacturing so it would be hesitant to purchase anything else.

It was a burn's night celebration The poet laureate of Scotland I came in with my white scarf top hat black Inverness cape. Underneath I was in full kill with a prince Charlie bow tie textured vest holes and Gilly brogues I felt great got lots of compliments and got to read the winter by Robert Burns it was a great night and I felt great and I looked great cuz that's what everyone said thanks guys appreciate all your hard work you have an excellent taste in products

I am using the hat in my role as the Worshipful Master in my Masonic Lodge. The Lodge room get's a bit steamy in the Florida summer and this straw top hat is light and airy yet exudes quality and looks formal. It's perfect for the purpose I intended.

No special occasion but I do spoil myself. This ladies vest is more gorgeous than the pictures. The fit is spectacular. I have not worn it as yet but I am planning to in the very near future.

I own 2 pair of these Classic Canvas Trousers in different colors. I am very impressed with their build quality and how they are a true representation of, for me, the old west. These are my cowboy pants. They are heavy canvas. There sizing is very different from blue jeans. Definitely size up as these ride high up to my belly button which is larger than my waist. Get some suspenders :)

I am a tour guide at our local Railway Museum. I dress in clothes close to what would have been worn around here in 1910. I love the clothes I've gotten from Historical Emporium for several reasons: First they are all very well made, using good quality fabrics. Second they are reasonably priced. Third, I usually receive them within a week of the time I order them. Fourth, they are comfortable and look good and like the period. So far I've purchased a suit, 2 skirts, and at least 5 blouses. I have 2 tips for people buying for the first time: 1. read the sizing tables and reviews to insure you get the correct sizes on the blouses. Because of their construction, some blouses are more fitted than others, so you may need to order a size or two larger. 2. The skirts are usually long, so read the descriptions. This skirt, like the others I've ordered, is 41 inches long. I'll be cutting it shorter to fit me because I'm way too short to wear such a long skirt. I am able to make a simple modification like that myself, but if you don't sew, you'll need to find a way to shorten the hem if it's too long for you.
