Historical Emporium is one of my "go-to" sources for mid to late 19th century clothes and etceteras. I say 'one' because other sources provide additional options that are unavailable at HE. I like HE's offerings and quality, so I am by no means diminishing HE. Obviously, I'll be back.

I wanted to know how quickly I could receive and order once I placed it. The gentleman said that the item I was interested in could arrive in about a week. I placed the order on a Monday, and I was delivered on Thursday the same week. I called again after receiving the order for some general information and the young lady on the phone was super sweet and extremely helpful. I could be happier with the entire experience. Maybe the Downton Abbey craze has died down, but Edwardian clothes are so hard to find!!! Please consider restocking choices, including walking suits, tea gowns and evening dress.
