Over a number of years I have purchased numerous articles of clothing. As a SASS and NCOWS competative shooter it is getting to the point that I have more 1800's clothing, from Historical Emporium, than I have modern clothing. All of it is excellent quality, historically correct "cut", wears like iron, fits well, and sized as advertised. The customer service, when I have used it, was friendly and efficient. I have been actively reenacting the Old West, since the late 1960's, and have performed in both live action shows, and films, which required extras, and stunt people, familiar with the West, and the Indian, and Civil War, periods. But, in those days...if we could not find the actual, authentic, clothes, and equipment to use...and the wardrobe department was unable to provide the proper items...we hand made everything we wore, ourselves. There were NO places like the Historical Emporium in existence at that time. So, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your firm's existence! I am now 70 years old, having just reached my 50th year of marriage to the same women, whom I MET in a STUNT SHOW, playing a Saloon Girl, where I first talked to her ON STAGE, for the first time. In celebration of this anniversary, we are throwing an Old West Party, on my ranch near Austin, Texas...where everyone dresses like its the 1880's...inviting everyone we know. This is why I bought my things from you people...and I cannot be more pleased I did so! Thank you!!

I was very impressed with the customer service considering what we have to deal with now days. I had a very minor issue that was unavoidable when I received what I ordered. When I called, they answered immediately and were very helpful and quick to make an exchange, and it was shipped to me in 2 days with a return label for the exchange. The item was exactly what I wanted, the fit was right, and the quality is second to none. I will recommend this seller to anyone interested in buying this type of clothing and gear.

The order came much quicker than I had anticipated. Both vests fit beautifully. I got compliments on the Klondike vest. I have not yet worn the black Cherry fountaine vest. The only recommendation I would have would be to carry some items, such as coats and shirts, in a short size.

The products I've purchased are of good quality. The biggest problem is the lack of inventory in many different items. Sold out seems to be the operative phrase on most items. I would have purchased other items, but most were sold out or of limited sizes and have been for many many months. This makes me search alternative sites for the things I need.
