Great deck
Got these to go with a gambler outfit I put together for CAS. Periodish cards are great. Be warned though, these do not have numbers and the Kings are hard to tell apart from Jacks. Modern markings ruin the look on the box though.

I do a medicine man show as part of our reenactment shows. I used the cards for tricks with the kids at the shows. I also asked people what the spade ace was and one man knew.m

Xmas Stocking Stuffer
Bought as a stocking stuffer and unfortunately the deck is sealed so I cannot see the cards. I'm disappointed that the case is not authentic. The case has printing, "Visit our website: www.usgamesinc.com" and "made in Italy".

Awesome deck of cards!
I knew what I was getting, but was really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of these replica period playing cards. They are perfect for the play I'm working on which is set in the 1890's. I will definitely be back to the Historical Emporium for all my old-fashioned needs. Thanks!

Not for Magicians
Looks good - made well. My husband wanted them to do card tricks with for a Civil War reenactment. These cards have very sharp corners and are not good for magicians. While manipulating the cards the corners gouge your hands. If not planning on using them for magic you will probably love them.
