The very first thing you see is a flash of fierce foil red. That is the Dragon! But the black and red combine to an elegant amazing stylish vest. The back is so light and airy that I won't be concerned with sweating. The black satin covered buttons are divine and do not draw one's eyes away from the overall look. The dragon design blends in but beckons one to have a closer look. I chose this vest to meet someone special for the very first time in England. It will shine. The fit is ideal. I chose a Medium, however for the most part, I wear large size shirts for comfort but in dress clothing Medium is the cut that fits properly.

The vest is first class but does NOT run large. Is actually quite true to size, so unless you want to pay another $20 in shipping fees to return the one you ordered at their instruction that is too small and then have them send you the one you would have ordered if they had not put that misleading description on Historical Emporium's Web site, order the size you normally wear.
Love the vest. It gives the whole look a rich splash of color. Fits like a glove. I highly recommend this piece.

The material is awesome but, this is a historical emporium fail. The backs of the buttons are plastic nothing like the other vests I have. Stitching seems to be outstanding. Will be returning the vest because the button came off the first time I wore it. If you are buying one of these vests, make sure to buy on the big side. The buttons do not have the strength for a form fit at all.
Very disappointed in this particular vest.

I like this vests color a lot. It is NOT bright fire engine red, but a richer , deeper hue. I normally order a 2XLT and this was true to fit.
Great Customer service too.

Nice vest. Color a bit more subdued than online pics. I've been wearing this to holiday parties lately and gotten compliments and passes as contemporary, not just historical. A bit surprised that I generally end up calling attention to the dragon pattern. Good fit; I have stocky build. Back adjustment strap refines that fit. The back of vest is acetate materials, in subtle grey stripping on black, silky, but not shiney. Delivery fine. Good purchase.
