Rachel Exactly what I was looking for. Lace feels like good quality, and it opens and closes easily. The tassel can be taken off and another charm put on, which I find really cute. The most minor of nit picks, because the fabric is on the thicker side it doesn't easily close up all the way, which for me is not a problem, just something to note if you need a really compact fan for some reason.

Ella It is gorgeous, lots of fabric and lace. It is really sturdy! (Probably is the more sturdy and well made hand fan I own. And trust me, I own a lot of hand fans of any kind, lace and mores.) The only problem is that it is hard to close. But I believe this is completely normal because of the amount of fabric and lace. Plus, it will be awesome if it is too hot outside, gives lots of wind.

Always A Lady Beautiful fan, REALLY circulates air. I keep it with me when I go to specials events and special places like church; worth the price. I read another review that said it was "hard to close", well it's a large, LACE fan so that's expected, meaning the fan is not made of simple paper where it would take hardly any effort to close. In my opinion the fan is NOT hard to close if you close it properly. Buy the fan and be FABULOUS.

Bluemeanie I ordered this particular item for my wedding in June of 2014 along with the Battenberg Lace Parasol in Ivory. The wedding is going to have a Victorian theme and I thought that these two items would be perfect for pictures and practical usage since the wedding will be held outside on Mackinac Island. I love these items so much I fully intend to order these two items in red for my bridesmaids!
