Slouch Hat - Brown

Good quality and material. Seems to run a little large, also the box was slightly too small so one side is bent up unevenly, it may need reformed. But no question about it being a pretty nice hat. Lightweight but not too flimsy.

The Hat looks great, feels great, very authentic looking. The only problem I have is with sizing. My head measures 22 in. According to the sizing, medium is 22 and 1/4 inches. So I got the medium. It was too small. So I paid for shipping to have it shipped back, and ordered a large. Also paid the shipping for the large to be shipped to me. The Hat ended up costing me a lot more than I expected it to.

The har fit perfect, it feels amazing and the complements don't stop, I bought it for my civil war reenactments and I'm pleased with the quality and authenticity of the product, couldn't be happier.

I love this hat. I have an extremely large head and this was one of the few times where the sizing chart was accurate and the delivered product fit! It will look good with my Living History ensemble!

This hat is historically correct and of vary high quality. I ordered it a bit smaller then normal and the fit is perfect. General Lee himself couldn't of got any better.

The slouch hat is very good in all respects. The only thing I would caution other buyers about is be careful on sizing. I have other felt hats all of which are size large and fit perfectly, this one however the size large is a very lose fit almost to the point of sliding over my ears. Just be careful when measuring for the perfect fit. Everything else about the hat is perfect, please do not confuse my size issue with a lack of quality, it is a great hat!

The slouch hat that I purchased is well-made and comfortable. It fits well and sets low enough on my head so the wind does not cause a problem by blowing it off. I do competitive chuck wagon cooking and this hat is period correct for trail drives. It is a great addition to my historical wardrobe.

I'm a big-time hat wearer, but a rarely go for western styles. This one does a good job of looking western without being hard core about it. The felt is among the better wool crushables that I have encountered, and it holds it's shape very well even though it is soft. It's good hat for costuming and everyday wear, and won't break the bank. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the sizing. Mine fits slightly large based on the size chart, but that's pretty common for wool crushable hats. The measurements are likely accurate, but the hat gives. If you are borderline on size, round down. At least, if your are in the large/extra large sizes.

I needed to get a good cowboy hat for a Halloween costume, and this was just the look I wanted. Perfect color and it couldn't fit any better. I'd buy from this company again.

I love this hat! It's got just the attitude I was looking for. It's well made, has clean lines, and it's not heavy on my head. I also like that it's water resistant and packable. I have no plans to either wear it in a downpour or squish it, but that lets me know it was designed to be treated like a serviceable piece of clothing, not a prop. It looks terrific on me: a little big, but not overwhelming. To keep that in perspective I'm 5'2" and weigh 115 lbs. and I ordered a medium. It's just perfect for my 1880's Steampunk Western Gal!

The hat is a beautiful chocolate brown and very soft, yet holds its shape. Execellent quality for the money. I ordered the hat and it arrived so fast I had to open the box to see what it was. Unfortunately, the size I ordered was too big, but a friend tried it on, it fit perfect, so he bought from me and saved me the effort to send it back. I just ordered a replacement.
