Was as pictured of good quality and not like a costume

The second appearance of Sherlock Holmes was in a slim volume entitled "The Sign of Four". This adventure began with a pretty, blonde governess receiving a pearl from the the Agra treasure. In the end, Scotland Yard gets credit for solving the casse and Watson wins the hand of the fair maid. I would like to think she would present Watson and Holmes with pearl stick pins like the above item to mark her wedding day.

This arrived broken and was unusable, otherwise the remainder of my order was great.

It is exactly what it says. A small pearly tack that tacks your tie. Works well. Simple. Understated. Not flashy or eye catching. Worth more than the money.
