A high gloss finish protects the shaped natural bamboo, and a brass connector ring adds a measure of sophistication. Rubber safety tip is removable to adjust length, or for a more traditional look.

Length: 36½". Imported. The maximum weight capacity for this cane is 200 pounds.

High Quality and Cool Aesthetic
A cane befitting of a carnival barker indeed. This cane is very high quality and the rubber safety tip is a nice touch (won't mark up floors). The cane itself is sturdy and could be used as an actual cane, albeit a really cool looking one. The bamboo aesthetic is AMAZING along with the fit and finish of the cane as well. Overall, definitely worth a purchase if you're looking for this type of cane to go with your outfit.

Really like this cane. What would make it better is if you could remove the chunky rubber foot and find a solid brass foot or similar like a couple of other canes I have from you guys.

Very handsome an light.
If one must use a walking cane because of poor balance, which I have , this one is very good. It is made of real cane and is therefore very light because it is hollow. Being height challenged I needed it shortened. Then I went to a medical supply store and they installed a new rubber tip. I am rarely without this cane. Several friends who use canes have commented on the beauty and light weight of this necessity. A crook in the end makes the cane very easy to loop over your arm when you need 2 hands are hang from a counter in the kitchen while cooking. Not only is it a safety cane to steady me but also a handsome accessory.

THE CANE IS MADE VERY WELL. ALTHOUGH, I AM A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED. THE COLORAZATION BETWEEN THE CROOK AND THE STAFF ARE DECIDEDLY DIFFERENT. THE CROOK (HANDLE) IS MUCH DARKER THAN THE STAFF. I THINK I WILL BE ABLE TO STEEL WOOL THE STAFF AND RE-STAIN IT TO A DARKER COLOR.

Seems well made, and sturdy enough for a modest sized adult. The tip is certainly orthopedic--a bear to get off in one piece--and I think most HE customers will want to remove it for a less clunky and more traditional look. I wish mine were darker, as it is depicted on the site, but I'm guessing consistent hue is difficult to achieve with bamboo.

Sturdy and Stylish
I liked the looks of this cane on the website and thought it would be a good accessory for a re-enactment persona I will be performing later this year. I ordered it and when it arrived was blown away by just how much better it looked in person! This cane is the perfect combination of sturdy and stylish. It is a good value for the price. I removed the rubber tip and did a slight finish touch up to then end and voila, it was ready to become part of my persona. BONUS: the balance and weight of the Van Dyke Bamboo cane lends itself to balancing and twirling tricks, so if you're on the lookout for an addition to a showman or theatrical performer outfit, I highly recommend it.

I've looked long and hard for a functional bamboo cane. This fills the bill. I've already walked several miles with it and it is a perfect companion when I go out for a "wee stretch of the legs."
