The mob cap has a long history that started among the wealthy aristocrats during the Georgian era. Our version most closely resembles those used during the Victorian era by servants and maids to protect their hair.

100% cotton. Imported. One size fits most. Features cap with ties to secure to the head and a two inch ruffled edge for decoration.

Note: Cap will arrive flat, but has an internal tie so it can be ruched and fit your head.

Wish it was bigger
The sizing on this product was listed as one size fits most - but it really was too small for me. Why not add an inch or two to the diameter of the material and make it one size fits all?

I purchased this cap to wear while working in a public kitchen. I hate the hairnets, baseball caps and OR scrub hats everyone else wears so I got this cap. I have had more compliments on my cap and would order again from this site.

Very nice cap!
I got this to wear with the sleeveless bathing tunic but I also like to wear it with other outfits and I think it works very well with a Lolita maid outfit, it's very cute, I am very satisfied!

Simple cap, but it's made well and looks good. I've worn and washed it a few times, and it's holding up nicely.

The same with the Mob Hat, the elastic should be flexible to fit just about any size head. The material was not good. It was pretty though, everyone like it.

I was a little disappointed with the size of the hat. I was expecting it to be more 'puffy' therefore more fabric used. I would have also preferred elastic instead of a drawstring - so I will inserted the elastic myself.

I feel like Mrs. Patmore when I wear this cap! But I won't use salt instead of sugar... It's of fine quality and it will look perfect with my Cotton Pioneer Apron!

What a simple pattern! It irons very well as it will lay flat - can't wait to use it with the swimming dress. My ONLY disappointment in this outfit was that the bloomers were not available and I had to buy a pattern and material to make a pair.
