I don’t think these resemble anything that would’ve been made in that era. Considering they’re not leather, I think they’re very overpriced.

Got these for a Jedi Halloween costume (long time ago historical...). The large fit me just barely and I'm a US13 (14 in some brands) men's shoe size. The insoles are uncomfortable but the boots look good and worked for the evening I have used them so far.

Great boots for my wizardry outfit, but the zippers can be a contentious issue as pointed out in other reviews. They are repairable with a Lil magic. I like them, and they look great.

I'm acting, singing and dancing in Fiddler on the Roof and these boots work well for the part.

The boots fit. The zipper is on the inside of the calf hiding it for pictures and can easily be covered if needed. Sturdy enough for cosplay outings. Just a great jack boot replica for half the cost you would fine elsewhere. Very happy with purchase.

The calf of the boots were extremely too small. Especially for a size 14 boot. It cost $ 21.00 to return the boot. Not happy!

These boots are good for the price but certainly not the best but I knew that going in. They'll work if you need riding boots in a pinch like I did. As others here have mentioned be sure to order the next size smaller than you actually are. I ordered the Medium size (I'm size 10) and they were WAY to big, so I went with a size small and they got better. Overall I'm happy with them, they'll do their job for my cosplay just fine.

Though the right boot did fit my foot, the left one was damaged. The zipper was broken. Very disappointed with it to be honest

These boots worked better than I thought. Made my Han Solo costume that much better They are very well made. And very warm and toasty. These boots are going to last a long time.

I received my order quickly, unfortunately the size I chose was just too large. I returned the boots and ordered the next size down. Too small. I really like the boots cut they just don't appear to be available in my size.

These boots run slightly high in size, but a small boot size fit my 9 1/2 foot. I bought these boots to use I in a theatrical production of Fiddler on the Roof. I play Tevye and am constantly on stage. The boots have held up! The zipper is high quality and I haven’t broken either of them yet. The soles have not dislocated from the leather, so I am happy!

Absolutely love these boots. I will be wearing them for sure at Clockwork Alchemy San José 2017 in the War Room. I am on staff and teach Historical fence. These boots are perfect!

I would rate this lower but it's not an item produced by the Historical Emporium so I feel it's not fair to judge them. These boots are from Funtasma and the quality's not that great. The "leather" material is not as stiff as you'd expect from a boot. Also I'm a size 9 in American sizes and these boots were just a bit too loose. I got the smallest size and they were too big. BUT as far as service goes, which was through the Historical Emporium, really good. They arrived on time and I suppose are priced fairly but I would say go the extra mile and purchase one of their more expensive boots.

Nice pair of boots for the price. As noted by other reviews, the tend to run large so I bought the small which fit my size 9.5 men's foot well.

Do not listen to previous reviews that say they're 2 to 3 sizes bigger, they're maybe 1 size bigger at best. I am a US11(UK10) and the small size was 1 size too small, a size US10(UK9) might have just fit.
Not particularly comfortable but not uncomfortable either, I would suggest getting inserts for comfort if you're planning on wearing these all day at a con.

Fit and feel great

The boots are a good fit. I wish there was a slightly smaller size, but they are comfortable and I can drive a manual transmission car without issues using the clutch. Haven't tested them in winter yet, but with a warm pair of socks, should be great for the winter galas.

For the money you can't find a higher quality boot out there.

These boots are really not great. I feel like the sole will start coming apart after a couple wears. FYI I found rubber riding boots that look nicer, have a better sole and are the same price.

The boots fit perfect! The zipper on the side makes them very easy to put on and take off.

I had been looking for an inexpensive pair of boots to wear as part of an x-wing pilot's costume. These boots exceeded my expectations in quality and in price. Now I have to make up a flare holder to hang from the top of the left boot.

The quality is about what I expected for the price... decent quality vinyl uppers and a good sole. I was a bit nervous about buying footwear with sizes S-M-L-XL, and the guide suggesting a M for my Wide 10 1/2 feet when I haven't worn anything M in 40 years! I was pleasantly surprised with the fit. As other reviewers have stated, they are actually a bit large, but not uncomfortably so and a pair of thick socks took care of it. The full-length side zipper is anachronistic, but sure makes it easier to get them on over tucked-in pants. I wore them all day and night on Halloween with no discomfort.

These boots are so versatile. They can complete your Victorian outfit or round out Jedi attire. Great value. Run a little larger than normal boots but that's ok.
