Just Love the old fashion design and look.

As with the other items that I've purchased from Historical Emporium, this does not disappoint. The quality of the work is very good. The vest, itself, is on the light side but not flimsy, if that makes any sense to the reader. The patterning on the fabric of the front is quite visible and, when I posted pictures of it, received favourable comments. It's a beautiful piece though a bit of a step outside my usual black and dark red palette ;)

I was initially interested in a different vest, but it was out of stock and I needed a very BLUE vest for an outfit I am putting together for Halloween, so rolled the dice on this one -- AND WON! Outstanding vest and fit! The delivery time was unbelievable and now that I have it, I can see other uses for it during the year with other suits I have if I want to "take them up a level" as well. I'm 5'10, broad shouldered, but shorter upper body, so I'm always concerned with the length of such items, but this one fit spot-on! This together with my black bowler and royal blue hat band I am using for Halloween (and purchased from this site) will make for a great statement at parties over the coming week...and beyond.

I liked it but the sizing chart came up short to the small of my back. And the picture is much lighter than the vest. The vest is bright blue not the turquoise look in the picture. I figured with a name like Tahoe it would be a more watery blue. The vest was more royal blue.

I got the package fast, but while the vest was nice, that is about it. The material is light, the fit is decent, but for the price i was expecting more.
