The shirts came right away and the overall quality is very good. My only issue is with the pockets on the right chest. Your picture does not show pockets and a pocket does not belong on an 18th Century shirt. I would try to remove the pockets, but I feel sure the needle holes would show.
I am a demonstrating 18th Century blacksmith, and I really like my shirts to look correct as to period.

Now this is a great quality shirt with a lot of unique qualities! The fabric is very thick and heavy. A thick off white/beige linen look. Looks great tucked in or left out. If you leave the shirt out, it is a bit long but I'm sure a tailor at any dry cleaners can take the hem up a couple of inches if desired. Really great look if you like this style. Shirt looks like it can last a lifetime and goes will with jeans and boots. Good purchase, well worth the price!

For the purposes of daily wear, this is one of the best shirts to buy from the emporium. It works well with any work vest, and I have only received compliments whenever I've work it. The shirt is comfortable and easy to wash. This definitely belongs in a worker's wardrobe. I bought two!

I ordered the Laborers Shirt because of its unique design and casual look, and was glad I did. The down-to-earth unbleached muslin nevertheless has good body to it and a soft homespun feel. The cut, with its open neck and added fullness in the lower sleeve would give an artisan or craftsman an ease of movement required to complete his tasks, but I like it just as well to sit around and relax in.

Wore this the day it arrived...it's comfortable, stylish, and fits well. I haven't washed it yet, obviously, but the page says line-dry, so I assume it will wash just fine...either way, a fine purchase!

This shirt is perfect for my SteamSmith costume. Styling is just right. Also, very well made.Fabric is durable and on the heavy side, so the shirt is a little warmer than I had expected. I will be buying another shirt from Gentlemens Emporium in a lighter weight fabric to give me costume options for warmer and cooler weather.
