Classic Cotton Petticoat - White

I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Well made and soft cotton is comfortable to wear. Adjustable drawstring waistband is a nice feature on this petticoat.

Delightful cotton petticoat with ruffles and lace. Well-made and sturdy cotton fabric. Will take a bustle as it's longer in the back. Very wide waist for a small size--my only complaint. If I'd made this myself, I would have darted in the garment over the hips to the waist to hug the body, and added a ruffle around the waist for fullness. [Ruffled white cotton petticoats as skirts are very popular in New York City right now btw.]

I ordered both a small and a medium classic cotton petticoat to wear under the Cordelia pioneer dress They were the same length (they reached the floor so I had to tie the drawstrings high on my waist). There is a LOT of room in both (almost enough to fit another person in it) so I went with the small as I did not need the extra ruffles around the waist. I am 5'1", 150 pound, chest 39", waist 37", hips 42." The hemming at the bottom is pretty and is almost a shame to hide under the dress.

This petticoat is tha perfect touch to wear under your historical skirt or dress--just the right amount of fullness to make it prettuer!

I love this undergarment, I just wish it had elastic in the waist instead of a drawstring. I had to size down and had no trouble exchanging it.

I was worried that this petticoat, even in a small, would be too big for me. Thankfully it's wonderfully adjustable, so even bunching isn't an issue. Good cotton, well made, a lovely staple piece.

I purchased this petticoat so that I wouldn't have to make myself one for an upcoming event. I was hopeful that it would fit. Sadly I am right at the end of the size chart this this was just a bit snug. That's ok, I was able to let my niece use it she is much smaller than I am and the extra fullness was good under her 1890s walking skirt. The fabric was lovely and soft. And shipping was super quick.

The slip is nicely made with a soft fabric that washed and dried nicely. I'm tall and it hits me at my ankles, which is fine.

I am thrilled with how well made this petticoat is. The quality is exceptional. The details on the tiers of the skirt are so very pretty. It feels beautiful to wear, and it will last for years. This is my first purchase from Historical Emporium, and this petticoat made a great impression! I won't hesitate to buy other articles, based upon the quality, value and attractiveness of this petticoat.

This petticoat is so wonderful. I definitely recommend if you have any of the walking skirts. It is super soft and really feels great under the skirt.

I purchased this skirt after trying one for the same price from Amazon. The Amazon skirt was shorter than I needed so I tried this one, not only was the Classic Cotton Petticoat the perfect length for me, but it was much softer, more comfortable, and had the perfect level of poof for my needs. My only issue is that I purchased the small and it was still waaaaay to big. I was able to tighten the drawstrings to fit eventually, but it leaves bunching marks under my dress.

The quality of the classic white petticoat is outstanding and only matched by the prompt shipping. I wish all companies were run the way yours is.

I recently purchased the classic cotton natural petticoat for under my walking skirt & I am impressed & in love with it. I was really expecting something totally different & fell in love with it the moment I took it out of the box. The fact that it is a drawstring and adjusts comfortably is a plus, barely falling to my ankles ( I stand at 5'4 1/4 & wear a 2x) really helps when it comes to my skirts. I can't wait to add more colors to my 19th C undergarment wardrobe. Thank you :)

I've always been very pleased with the quality and price of these petticoats. I am a costume designer, and the first set I bought years ago are still in terrific shape after repeated washing.

Uncertain of size to order, so I went with Large. Fit good..and with the adjustable draw string, it was secured and gave a nice fullness to the black walking skirt worn over the top. The ruffled hemline gave a very nice affect and petticoat added additional warmth this early, chilly Fall.

I made mine in the past but just didn’t have time. I could not have made one prettier. It is of very fine durable yet soft cotton. It ironed up beautifully. I am wearing it over my hoop skirt and just what I need to keep my hoop from flying.

High quality and as described. Watch waist size. I was happy I ordered a size down from what I normally wear or there would have been too much gathering at the top.

This petticoat fits the need perfectly. The double flounce on the petticoat fluffs the dress out nicely. Pay attention to the waist size on this - I did and I'm very glad I ordered the small; the size chart works well for this item.
