Great shirt!
This is comfortable and looks great! It didn't shrink when machine washed and feels great to wear. I think the sizing is perfect.

Shirt runs big
The size large (my usual size) was too big. The sleeve s were too long. Reordered a medium and it was just right. Thanks for the prompt shipping.

The shirt is very nice , The only problem is it runs Large. My husband usually wears a Large and sometimes a XL so I ordered a Large and it was huge had to send it back for a medium. Received the second one with in a week of sending it back.

I believe smaller mother of pearl buttons would have been more authentic.

Great quality for price
Coulter shirt in natural color is excellent quality for the price. Will definitely be using this company again. Shirt is slightly roomier than expected, but is more historically accurate in that regard. Natural color is not too dark. Sort of an off-white linen color. Better than I was expecting. If you want a more fitted shirt, try ordering a size under what you usually need. I wear a medium in most shirts, but suspect that a small would still fit, even in the collar, for a more fitted appearance. Overall great shopping experience

Too large
The shirt was exactly what I was looking for. However, I wear an extra large and ordered same. Regrettably, the shirt was huge. Thank you for graciously accepting the return. Again regrettably, the shirt was not available in a large. Success, another item in a different style was ordered, shipped immediately, and the large was perfect.

Beautiful shirt.......and just as seen on the site. Fits perfectly. Yellowy in colour, and looks fantastic when worn with a mixture of browns like the Griffith Frockcoat in walnut......and the Sweeney Trousers with the Herringbone pattern. Go for a browny/ greeny / tweedy type vest with the THIS shirt, and the other types of Brown available in coats and trousers.......and you'll see what i mean. 5 stars.....and well deserved.

Great Shirt
I must get this in other colors, if the fabric is consistent. I tried the tan stripe version, but it was too different. This one, in natural, is a comfortable shirt that (thanks to the color) can be dressy or casual. Like the Sinclair, one could turn the collar up for a high-stand look. However, it doesn't stand as well, so a cravat or ascot would work best, rather than a puff or bow tie. Something with body. The fit is real nice, too.

I am very pleased with my new shirt, the quality, service, fast delivery just everything is great. This is the second shirt I have bought and love both of them, I just wish I were not on a fixed income and I would own more of your items. I have told all my friends and family about this store. I will be ordering more as I can. Thanks for handling these great products.

Historical clothing
I own a 1901 Locomobile steam car (Stanley steamer). When I go to car show or parades, my wife and I dress in period clothing from your store. Over the years I've become an historian on the subject of turn of the century steam cars. The cloths give us that finished look. Many people enjoy seeing us dress with the car. Thanks for providing us the ability to look the part.

More color than a white shirt
I like this shirt because it adds a bit more color than the typical white shirt. The rounded collars complete the look, but make certain to crease the collar consistently when ironed so that one side doesn't stick up (I learned this the hard way). This shirt will work with just about any vest.

Great shirt
This is one well-made shirt. It's very soft and therefore comfortable to wear all day, which I did as part of my steampunk cosplay. After washing it and letting it hang dry all I had to do was let it tumble in the dryer for a few minutes and it came out ready for me to wear. No ironing necessary unless you're going for the starched look! I agree with another reviewer that I'm tempted to replace all my "regular" with several of these. :)
