Great pants. Made of canvas. Similar to the pants sold by Cathay. Should last forever.

I'm a photographer and bought these for my model for a historical photoshoot. They are well made and tough, the only issue I had was that one pocket was sewn into the crotch seam. I was able to remove the stitching and they were fine after that.

I have been longing to get a pair just like these. Very pleased with the quality and fit. This will be perfect in my new role at Original 1880 Town in South Dakota.

You folks put a lot of emphasis on "occasion'. Try this! In my case, there ain't no special occasion. I'll reiterate that the britches FIT! They come up on your waist like britches should and not under where your trousers are underneath your belly like some form of a ding bat. They have POCKETS that actually can hold stuff and don't fit so tight that when you put something in your pocket it doesn't imprint and be uncomfortable when you sit. They come with enough material in the legs to actually have them hemmed in a full break, half break, whatever, or "high waters" if you wear boots. Style and fashion for skinny jeans and pistol legged pants that come half way to your knees is a "con" contrived by manufacturers that started just before WWII and THEN as well as NOW, to add insult to injury, they upped their darned prices for less material in the names of "style and fashion". They ain't worth a tinker's damn! Brothers' don't bend over to pick up your soap in the showers! They're more than happy to take your money for less. These pants are great for everyday wear and won't present your naked arse when you stoop or bend over. They come with brace attachments and truth of the matter is, suspenders work much, much better than belts anyway. Even with all the “BS” that goes on in Washington, (and has been for decades) making it harder and harder for the middle class, it's worth a "few dollars more", (and I like Clinton Eastwood movies), to have the hems adjusted just the way...

Work clothing.

I purchased these trousers to wear while riding and working with my mule . They are very well made , from substantial fabric , and extremely comfortable with room for movement . I'm a big guy , with large leg muscles , and these are comfortable whether standing , walking , or sitting in the saddle . They have that cool "old west" look too!

These all cotton trousers lasted me ~5 years each time (owned 2 pair) with heavy wear (100 times a year for work). About to get them again. Good period fit, great buttons, includes replacement buttons if needed, wash fine like modern denim. Like all cotton, fades with sun exposure and wear, but that is part of the purpose- these are fine to actually live and work in.

Great product

Put these bad boys on and immediately got transported into the Oregon Trail. It's nice and peaceful out here but dysentery is almost guaranteed. It's a good thing these things aren't letting anything in or out.

A reenacting event in Little Rock, AR. Things were great. I looked and felt great. But be aware, your size is not the same size as Wal Mart so get them a little larger.

I like the style and look. I was best man at a frontier wild west wedding. Lots of compliments on the overall, authentic look.
