The shirts that I purchased appear to be pretty good quality. They were shipped in a timely fashion, were well packaged and arrived in good shape. I like the style very much and they are very comfortable. I purchased them to wear at team ropings. I needed a long sleeved, shirt with a collar and the buttons on these shirts are only down the top portion of the shirt. I am hopeful that this will eliminate my problem with rubbing buttons off on the saddle horn.

Why isn't the color of the stripes through to the back side of the shirt? It makes me worry that the color will fade quickly

This shirt is a sharp one, and it looks good with anything I wear it with. However, as other reviewers have noted, the stripes are darker and bolder in person than they are depicted on the site. That isn't a problem that warrants sending it back with a stern letter (because it's a great shirt), but it would be nice to have photos depicting such products in natural light to see an accurate picture. No matter, though; I like it lots, and have my eye on the tan stripe one next...

I wore this shirt to church on Easter Sunday with a vest and modern tie. Club collar shirts have such a great classic look. I have photos of ancestors wearing these kinds of shirts, so I was glad to join the club (pun intended). Note that the navy stripes are a very dark shade and almost look black in some lights. The stripes are also slightly wider than stripes on similar modern shirts, not that it mattered for my purposes.

I ordered this shirt as a first trial of the Historical Emporium's service. This first purchase took a while to arrive, but it was within the suggested length of time for delivery. It fits perfectly and I really like the colour. As a result of this first order, I have since ordered a much larger selection of items, and they arrived very quickly! I was somewhat taken aback, however to find that I had to pay duty on them. I understood that we have a free trade agreement with the U.S., but I did not realize that these items were generally made outside of that country and therefore were not subject to this agreement. In future, it would be nice if the source of manufacture of items could be shown in the online catalog to avoid unpleasant surprises. However, I will still buy from the site as the service is very good, and so are the products.
